I think I’m a pretty good guy who tends to be shy at first. However, I will open up the more I get to know someone. I'm working on this area in my life so hopefully when we meet, I can open up right away. I’m open to do most everything and go most anywhere. I love going out to sporting events, hanging out with friends at the tavern, but can also hang out at home with that certain someone and just relax. People describe me as someone who is laid back and easy going, but intense when I need to be.
I enjoy a balance of work, fun and family, all of those things are key to a happy balanced life, and I like to pursue each of them with all of my effort.

White water kayaking was an early passion, then I got into triathlons and ended up doing some Ironman races, now I’m into racing cars. The excitement, adrenaline and danger – it’s hard to beat. Future passions will probably include multi-sport races, more kayaking, but I doubt that I will ever play golf.

Meet a man from California, United States. I really wish Whole Foods in San Mateo would have a number system at the meat counter. Not having one creates this uncomfortable situation where people are looking around at each other, wondering who is next, not wanting to cut, but also not wanting to let anyone cut. Occasionally there’s some clever body positioning that takes place, which often involves a series of baby steps. Eventually the guy yells, “I can help who’s next.” (Bad grammar but somehow that’s the accepted phrase). When this happens people do a quick look around to see if they’re in the clear. Occasionally your eyes will lock with someone and there’s a brief but slightly tense moment. Most people, wanting to avoid confrontation, will say, “Go ahead” or actually tell the guy, “He’s next”. The aggressive types avoid all eye contact and simply start blurting out their order at the first opportunity. Now, let’s get back to that numbering system. It’s simple, it’s easy, everyone gets it (almost), and it works. Yet Whole Foods resists. Why, I don’t know. I could do something. I could complain, ask to see the manager, write letters, start a blog. But that’s not my style. Instead I’m just going to throw this message out into the abyss and hope that someone finds comfort in knowing that, when it comes to frustrations of grocery store shopping, you are not alone!

I'm LOYAL,honest, independent and down to earth, if you don't want an honest opinion, don't ask the question. My friends describe me as a friendly type A kind of guy that is confident and outgoing but that depends somewhat on my comfort zone. I attempt to be a gentleman for the most part and pleased that my parents instilled some manners in me. I love having a good laugh more than anything. I'm definitely an all or nothing kind of guy (and considering getting that tattooed somewhere) and once I've made my mind up generally don't tackle challenges half heartedly.
