I’m a bit of jokester (proudly voted class clown in high school). For me, there’s nothing like making others laugh, even if my sense of humor might get me in a little bit of trouble from time to time (though sometimes that makes it even funnier). Of course, I’m worth more than a few laughs. I’m a real family man, who’s extremely honest, loyal, and caring. I’d do anything to take care of those closest to me (both my family and my large circle of lifelong friends). I also try to consult them when life’s thrown me something ridiculous, though I ultimately do things my way. While I’ve always been good at knowing and communicating my emotions, I remain very confident in my own choices and care little for what most people think of me. Don’t worry though, that doesn’t include you. I’ve been in serious relationships before, and while they may not have worked out, they’ve helped me to realize exactly how communication (and really everything) should run in a successful relationship. Lastly, I consider myself intelligent and well-educated, though I acknowledge that there’s still plenty out there to be learned. Therefore, I’m incredibly outgoing and want to experience everything this world has to offer.
What am I looking for in a partner then? Well, I want someone who’s very much after my own heart. She’s smart, intellectually curious, and ambitious (she knows what she wants out of this life and how to get it), but is still intensely nurturing, affectionate, and just likes to enjoy herself as much as possible. She has to know how to laugh, no matter what’s going on. As far as looks go, it’s important that she’s someone who takes car of herself, has a pretty face, and a great smile, but none of that means anything if she’s not also loyal, self-assured, open-minded, sincere, communicative, and willing to put the needs of others in front of her own.

My passions are many. I do love my movies. Physical fitness is also a way of life. I exercise five days a week ranging from weight training, CrossFit, outdoor excursions, dancing, swimming, hiking, and bike riding which is my biggest exercise passion. But my biggest passion lies in anticipating and tending to the needs of others. This is both a career and life aspect, and a big part of that is making others laugh. There's nothing more satisfying than making someone else's day with a quick and corny joke or story.
Realistically, I most certainly know what qualities I am looking for in a woman. If you are someone who's going to push me to my limits and then pull back with a warm hug at the last minute. If you are mature for your age and you know what you want out of life; the right woman not only fascinates me but also brings out the best in me. We push each other to be the greatest people we can be. We bolster each others egos and we leave short, thoughtful text messages for each other when either of us are out of town. I'm currently in the process of moving to LA from Simi Valley for a new job at a solar energy company. I've never lived in LA before and I'm very excited to start this new chapter of my life. So I'm trying this whole online thing because I'd love to find someone to experience it with.
I was lucky enough to be raised in a family where love, honesty and respect were very important. I'm definitely an artistic / creative type of person, although my career doesn't allow for much of it. I think that frame of mind gives me an edge though. Anyways, I'm really looking for an honest to goodness relationship. Sitting at a desk all day has really made me appreciate the time I can get out and do just about anything. I love a good adventure. The more spontaneous the better. I find myself going to a lot of music festivals, art shows, wine festivals, new places to hike, and lately I'm spending a lot of time at the gym as well. I was never much of a "gym rat" but I was in a motorcycle accident in January, so getting back in shape was a priority after I was stuck in a bed for a month. Now it's become a habit and a great way to clear my mind, and stay healthy. Totally recovered btw, this isn't the part of the profile where I drop the "I only have one leg" bomb lol. The first time I went surfing a dolphin jumped out of the water and nearly landed on me. I've been addicted to the ocean and surfing ever since. Note: don't ask me to teach you because I'm pretty horrible myself. Surfing is way harder than it looks, even for a former skateboarder/snowboarder. The majority of my pictures are from college. I still look the same, but yes I do have other interests besides partying. I've grown up - a little.
I moved out to LA about 2 years ago from Philadelphia and have been loving the weather and living 2 minutes from the ocean ever since. By day I work in sales for a logistics company(yawn). By night I run an extreme sports company that my roommate and I started out of our garage. A lot of my free time consists of sewing (yes, we have a huge machine in our garage/sweat shop) and packaging our product. Entrepreneurship runs in my family and I'm pretty sure I've inherited the gene.
I'm also learning programming and getting into the LA tech start-up scene( I am a dork, no hiding it). I like people with a lot of energy and passion.
Spicy food and tacos, Pacifico is the greatest beer ever made, and all red wines generally taste the same. I know, "how uncultured." Convince me otherwise, please!
