I am a SoCal girl born and raised who is family oriented, driven, down to earth, and easy going. I used to be in the Navy and have traveled through most of Asia with a few stops in the Middle East. Now that I am back to being a civilian, I spend most of my time playing with my little girl or doing homework. I am currently in school pursuing a degree in elementary education with focus on teaching credentials in California. I am working towards becoming a 2nd grade teacher until I can eventually open my own youth center for under privileged kids.
I would have to say that dance is definitely a passion of mine. Unfortunately, being in the military left me little time to dedicate to it but it is something I am definitely getting back into.
On a normal day you would see me chasing after my 2 year old, playing with the dogs, dancing around my house, running around with my camera or at the park with a book in hand (or my kindle).
I love being outdoors but can also enjoy a nice evening in with a good movie.
Being that I am dealing with a messy marriage I am not looking to jump into anything right now. I just want to meet new friends to get out and enjoy myself with.

I run my own business, which keeps me pretty busy, but I think balance in life is important so I always make time for everything else... somehow :) A man has to be doing something for himself, with his life, and respect my independence. Now guys.... I understand the "be friends first" before dating...you know, get to know each other.. but I'm here for something meaningful. I am an active woman that runs marathons and half marathons while raising money and awareness for Team in Training (for Leukemia). I have been active with Team in Training since my older sister was diagnosed with Leukemia in Feb 2002. I was her stem cell donor and unfortunately, she lost her battle in October of 2002. I try to keep her memory alive and I run FOR her and others I have met over the years through Team in Training. I am quite passionate about this cause. I volunteer my time to others that are getting ready for their first running events whether that be a full or half marathon. I do not always run my race for me...just seeing those first timers cross that finish line is an awesome experience!
