For the last 5 years I have been an applications Engineer for a great company in Westminster. I love working out, I try to do something every day. Lifting weights is my favorite. I love to Ski; I have only been doing it for a few years but love being on the mountain. I enjoy cooking, a good book, and watching old movies or just playing a good game or cards. About my makeup? I describe myself as being easy going, sincere and honest and most people think of me as being very humorous. I am a pretty simple guy who is down to earth. Do I make mistakes? It takes a lot to get me rattled--I work in an ER so I guess that's a good thing. My family is the most important thing to me. I have 4 kids, two older and living on their own, and two in high school, so I have them 2 or 3 days a week.
I have a lot of interests and hobbies. I paint with an airbrush on anything I can get paint to stick to.
I love to garden, and raise some of my own food. I buy wheat and grind it in to flour and make bread for me and my family and my mom. I like to take off and go camping and sit under the stars for a night, and then go hiking the next day. Hot springs are one of my favorite things to do also.
I like to go out dining, and get dressed up sometimes, and I love going to live concerts. in the past two years, I have seen Nickleback twice, Papa Roach, Avenged Sevenfold, Daughtry, The Eagles, and Josh Groban. I like all kinds of music.

I am a tall (6'4", 215#) Love the outdoors!. I like to bike, roller blade, play tennis, golf, ride horses ( I used to be a cowboy), hike...anything outdoors! . I like other genres as well, but a little; Country, Ska, Reggae, Punk and Bluegrass . In a nutshell "good singin' good playin" on real instruments. I also love Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Brubeck, Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, et al, and I'm listening to Classical while I type this. I love "flashy" Piano Concerti. Baroque has been my latest.
I don't like ;Techno, Rap, House, Trance, what passes for R and B these days, (Wilson Pickett, and Otis Redding would roll over in their graves). A good rule of thumb, if it has; backup dancers, costume changes, sampling, turntables, etc. it's not for me.
I never cared for the "dance club scene."
I like places where the people are real. Symphony, Art Galleries, Museums, Jazz, Blues Clubs, Irish and English Pubs, Brewpubs, Dives, Ballet/Modern Dance even a Honky Tonk.
I like to cook romantic dinners for 2 or have friends over for a lively dinner party, even backyard BBQs.
I love the mountians, and hiking any or no excuse to get there.... Anything else just ask.
As for movies, books and TV, I tend to like Murder/Mystery,Fantasy/Sci-Fi, Thrillers, Action, good Horror (I know it's very rare), even a Heavy Drama now and again.
I am far from perfect and have my faults,unusual tastes, and idiosyncrasies. I will accept my partner's.
