Date people from United States. My friends would describe me as down to earth honest, sincere and laid back. I have two great boys who keep me extremely busy. I am an avid reader, love working out (free weights), a backyard bbq with good friends and a cold Guiness and enjoy a good movie. I know there is nothing like being able to make my boys smile. Though they do make up a large part of my life I know I am missing someone special to spend my life with. I am not looking for a ready made family. I want to take my time and build a solid relationship based on communication, respect, mutual interests and a love that grows deeper with time.
You won't catch me jumping out of planes ( never understood leaving a perfectly sound aircraft just for a thrill). I am a former Marine and they couldn't get me to do it and neither will you. I like to camp, take my boys to the park and just play, take in a hockey game (diehard Avs fan, but not fanatical), etc. Too much to list.
As for what I am seeking in a woman, I don't know. I can't list specifics, it is truly impossible. Two things I know for sure, there has to be a mutual attraction and common interests. I have been known to talk a persons ear off but I also know how to listen. So if you wink or leave a message I will respond unless you live outside Colorado.

A little about me:
I swim, I bike, I run, I repeat. I build and I demolish. I bob and I weave, I pine, I dote, I gush, I Swiffer ™. I love fully and with reckless abandon but I am starting to understand some wisdom in not. I encourage, support and understand. I hug and kiss and squeeze and tease. I accommodate, anticipate and contemplate. I am considerate, thoughtful and respectful. I’m passionate, compassionate but more importantly, I’m exothermic. I'm playful but not a playa. I enjoy watching people do what they enjoy. I put more stock in the walking than the talking. I am a man more about quality than quantity. I love the smell of fireworks, two-stroke engines and dewy, freshly chainsawn pine. I would be three inches taller if I wasn’t raised on Spam and Mac and Cheese. My credit score is 738. Strengths Finder concludes: strategic, intellection, ideation, learner, and context. Meyers Briggs pegs me at an INTP - if you give a flying hoot in a rolling donut about that sort of thing. I seem to be very goal and task oriented but I have learned to enjoy the ride lately as well. A smooth thread on Pandora moves me; the fountains at the Bellagio bring me to a halt. I hit the gym a couple times a week and eat right-ish so I can more fully enjoy sitting on my arse watching movies whilst eating chocolaty treats. On the occasions when I have to eat my words I find “always” and “never” to be the least palatable. I helped make a little person that I think I will keep. We watch 30 Rock, do jigsaw puzzles and stop at Krispy Kreme when the “Hot Now” light is on. We also argue about wearing eye shadow out of the house.
If you consider life a journey where we each have a path to travel then I am looking for someone to share a few or more miles with to make the trip more easy going. Someone to share burdens with, someone to talk about the trials and triumphs behind and what might lie around the next bend. Someone to help make the good spots great and the rough patches smoother. Someone with whom to share some things I have seen, that can show me a vista or an oasis I might have missed along the way. Someone slow that I can outrun in the event we encounter some kind of critter that preys on distracted, chatty, burden-sharing travelers.
