Date men from United States / Arkansas / Oakland, 36 year old

Date single man from United States. I am an outgoing man who looks forward to life every morning. The excitement of the day and night keep me going. I am the "rock" in many of my friendships. Trustworthy, straightforward and devoted to everyone I know. I work hard and play equally hard every moment I get. Why live life at only 50%. If I'm going to fail at something, I'll make it big and impressive. That way if I succeed at something, it will be that much more rewarding. I have made plenty of mistakes in my day. Some I regret and some I'm proud of but I have learned from them all.
I am at a stage in my life where I really enjoy all aspects. My daughter is smart, funny and beautiful. I love my job and the people in it. My friends are fantastic. Everything is so well balanced and I appreciate every moment of my day. I think that is worth sharing with someone.
I can go on and on but when you get down to it, if i sparked an interested, send me an email and we can talk. You can ask me any question you need.

Meet a man from United States. just curious as to what's out there. Looking to meet fun and interesting people who enjoy life and are comfortable with themselves and are looking for a serious relationships. I don't answer winks and out of area e-mails.

Date someone special from United States. I'm a smart, funny, and down-to-earth Bay Area native. The things I value most in life are my family and friends -- I'll always make time for them, no matter how busy I may be. One of the true joys in my life is spending time with my 4 year-old niece and 1 year-old nephew.
Three other things that I spend a lot of time thinking about (or doing!) are travel, photography, and animal rescue. I've been lucky enough to have visited about 25 countries on three continents, and I'm planning on adding South America and Antarctica to my list next January. Photography isn't just a hobby -- it's also my job, though not in the traditional sense (feel free to ask). It gives me a great excuse to be out and about, and has made me look at the world in a different way. Finally, animals have always been a part of my life, and every Saturday I volunteer at a well-known shelter in the East Bay finding good homes for rescued cats (I like big slobbery dogs, too!).
Personality-wise, I'm on the shy side at first, and tend to move slowly while I get to know someone (I am an INTJ, after all). Once I'm comfortable, I'm much more outgoing, and my witty sense of humor comes out. My friends would say that I'm intelligent, ambitious, honest, and generous -- at least that's what I'm paying them to say.
Self-improvement is important to me, whether it's learning more about myself (via meditation and other things), or working on being more flexible through yoga.
I guess I'm somewhat unique in that, unlike 99% of people in the Bay Area, I'm not training for a triathlon, don't eat sushi or listen to NPR, and I haven't skied since I was probably 12 years old. Not that I wouldn't try some of those things!
If you find any of this intriguing, definitely send a wink or a message!

Meet a man from Oakland, United States. I am just checking out the singles scene in a casual way. Mostly looking for friendship and someone to explore the Bay area with. I enjoy music, hiking, camping and dining out. I hope to find an easy going person to hand with and have fun.

Date someone special from Oakland, United States. My ghost writer moved to Iceland, so bear with me.
I think hammocks are overrated and NASA is underfunded. I'm a realist with a very goofy edge.
I'm happy, healthy, successful, and looking to settle down, but not settle.
I was born in the East Bay, lived all over country (and parts of Africa) for school and training etc, and recently settled in Oakland. My parents and sisters live In the area.
I hope to meet someone who is smart, curious, and emotionally mature. And also hilarious.
