I love exercising. I workout at least 4-5 days a week. I recently got into yoga, but I can't do the splits yet. I am working on it, though. I used to weigh 300lbs, then started working out and have dropped all of it. I know how hard it can be to lose weight, so I can sympathize with people trying to lose it.
I am a closet nerd, too. I don't wear shirts that support it or talk about it a lot, but I am a nerd.
Baking used to be the only way I knew how to cook, but I have recently upped my game a little and now I can cook quite the variety of dishes. Turns out I really like to cook.
I can be really loud, too. Not intentionally, either. Like, I don't do it for attention. I am just genetically loud. I have to always been aware of my volume, lest I forget and end up deafening everyone around me.
When it comes to the ocean and aquatic life, I have a very deep passion towards it. I love the ocean, it is one of the most amazing things on this planet.
I've been on stage numerous times. I love stage acting. I've done some non-news related acting on camera, too.
I give good massages, I've taken classes on it.
I have an animated face. My face is better at showing how I feel about something than my words. Guess it's all that theater stuff I used to do, eh?
Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Dexter, and Breaking Bad are my favorite shows. I like the original Star Wars movies. If someone asked me if I would be up for sitting down and watching one, I would say yes. There is never a time when I think I would say no. My grandma got me into them when I was 3 or 4. I guess she's the reason I became a nerd, and I am forever indebted to her for it :p

I'm originally from Maryland, went to school in West Virginia, lived in Texas for 18 months, recently moved to the Little Rock area, and will most likely be here for several years. I graduated with a BS in aerospace engineering from WVU two years ago and now I'm doing exactly what I've always wanted to do. All I'll say for now is that I'm in the military. It's nothing secret or classified, but I'd just rather discuss it in a private conversation. Health and fitness play a huge role in my life, and it's basically what makes me me. I used to be more on the chunky side things, then I got in shape, and I'm never going back. It's actually a pretty good story if you want to ask me about it. I love being outdoors, going on hikes and runs in parks and forests, and just about everything mother nature has to offer. Put me in the woods on a mountain or by a creek and I'll be happy. So yeah, I'm kind of a hippie. Sort of... not really. I'm also an avid gun, dirt bike, motorcycle, car, truck, plane, and whatever enthusiast. And I like pretty sunsets and bunnies. I'm hard to classify, but I think I strike a nice balance. You decide for yourself.
I like to think people can say "his momma raised him right" about me, as in I say please and thank you, open doors for people, and take care of what I say and do in public. In other words, I have manners. Also, I don't believe chivalry is dead, it's just ignored by the vast majority of idiots my age these days. Men should be gentlemen and women should be ladies. I don't smoke or do any kind of drugs, and have zero tolerance for either. 'Nuff said. Alcohol is great in moderation (only good beer and classy liquor for this guy), and the occasional cigar is welcome too. As for religion, my family belonged to a Unitarian church until I was about 14, so I have my own liberal belief system. I've started thinking of myself as a "light" agnostic Atheist. Basically, believe in whatever YOU choose to believe in, don't force those beliefs on others, be happy, and be a good person. Easy enough, right?
Because I used to be a fat kid (still am at heart) I'll mention the love affair I have with food. I eat a mix of extremely healthy during the week and whatever I want on the weekends. I can go from fresh veggies and tofu (hippie side coming out) to pizza, bacon covered burgers, wings, beer, ice cream, and handfuls of chocolate chips (when I get desperate) in a matter of hours. And I'm not picky at all. Put food in front of me and it will disappear. Leave your food uneaten for too long and it too will disappear.
My favorite movies and TV shows are more than I feel like thinking of or typing out, but it covers the normal guy stuff, with a clear avoidance of sports however. I just don't care. Weird, right? Oh well.
My taste in music is as varied as my taste in food. Depending on the mood or what I'm doing, I can listen to anything from hardcore metal to relaxing ambiance or "soundscape" music. The latter I generally have playing throughout my house as I like to be relaxed at home. The exceptions to this range are country, rap, and generally whatever crap is on the radio that's new and supposed to be popular. I guess I'm not very mainstream with my music.
I try to read as much as I can, mostly fiction. But not Harry Potter or Twilight type fiction.
So, what am I looking for in my ideal match? I'm looking for someone who has a shared love of health and exercise and can keep up with me. In life and literally keep up with me, I'm pretty quick on my runs. Mutual physical attraction is a must as well. While I do believe physical attraction can grow over time, there are some lines I won't cross. Sorry if that sounds bad, but a person's appearance is their first impression, and that's just how nature works anyway. And if religion is a staple of your life, I don't think we'll get along. Sorry.
