Date a soulmate from Newark, United States. Fundamentally I'm a simple and honest guy that likes a little adventure (skydiving, scuba diving, flying), traveling (in the US and abroad), not to mention food, and wine.
I'm secure in who I am and what I do. I see tend to see the high side of things and believe you make your own "luck". I'm playful and laugh easy. I'm not into drama - life is to short for drama and games.
I think a relationship needs to be a mutual thing with a shared connection. I love feel of touching someone special and being touched by them.
I have older kids that are a treasure to me. We have a great relationship which is priceless.
I'm looking for a long term companion that's cut from the same cloth and wants to write the next chapters one page at a time.
Meet people from Newark, United States. I am looking for an honest monogamous relationship with a fantastic guy. At this time, I'm not looking for marriage, I've been divorced for 25 years. I grew up in the Bay Area, I have a very close family that's a lot of fun to hang out with and a great circle of girlfriends. I love what I do for a living and find myself at work way too much but if you've got my attention work becomes 2nd priority. I'll try just about anything once. I enjoy most things casual and kick back but I also like to put on a dress and high heels every now and then. I like live music of all types especially small venues. I'm in awe of wildlife, the ocean and nature. I'm looking for a mature loving compassionate man who would welcome a 50/50 relationship emotionally, physically and financially. Let's have coffee to see if we should have wine. Or, as I was recently told let's have wine to see if we should have coffee.
Date a soulmate from Newark, United States. Thank you for choosing to view my profile, especially if your parameters didn't include women up to or over age 50 because I'm told I look younger. I generally am attracted to slightly younger men or slightly older men with a younger look/style.
I am not a regular subscriber, so please be patient if you tried to contact me.
If you are not a born-again believer, walk strongly with the Lord, and attend church regularly or participate in some meaningful way, there's probably no need to respond to my profile, as I need to share this aspect of my life with my partner.
I enjoy hiking quite a bit and just hiked Half Dome on Oct. 1, 2011, my second summit. I am up for new experiences however, outdoors or indoors.
In my spare time I try to do some painting - watercolor is my medium - and it's there that I find I can truly unwind - especially with a glass of red wine and some classical music!
It would be lovely if you enjoyed art galleries and window shopping. I never linger that long! I am electronically challenged and I spill coffee in my car regularly, just to be honest. I still drive the family minivan but hope to change that but it's been convenient with my Labrador (now deceased) and now two grandbabies.
I don't need a savior, I've got one, but a true partner first and foremost. I'm not after your money, I live by faith and intend on working for the rest of my life, as long as I'm able. I'm very frugal and satisfied for the most part.
I must have a man who is a very strong leader but that leads with gentleness. Then I'm a great follower and you'll always have my respect. I have a 18 yr-old son living at home and your influence is important. I prefer a man who's had a chance, at some point in his life, to come to the end of himself and be built back up by the Lord. Someone who respects authority yet is confident in what he believes as well. Your friends might describe you as strong but compassionate. I love easy-going, yet motivated men. Someone who's not afraid of the doctor or totally unfamiliar with Whole Foods market.
I'm described as flexible, perceptive, a relator, and a "people person". I love the art of communication and yet I can be very contemplative and reflective. I'm not a drama queen - I've actively pursued some tremendous avenues of healing in order to leave my past behind with few hangups. That doesn't mean I think I'm perfect, but have tried to empty the baggage and I truly believe you'll benefit!
OK, I'll just put this superficial notion out there. I love facial hair but not mustaches alone.
I long to create a routine that includes praying together, playing together, cooking together is sexy, hanging with friends, Bible studies, travel, dining, music, and maybe even ministry. I'm very considerate and willing to lend a hand in any way I can to make your life easier. On the other hand, are you handy around the house?
