I don't like to smother or be smothered, we don't "own" anyone, and we can't control someone else but we can display responsibility and respect for one another. I need to know that you will be there for me regardless, and I too will be there for you. I will show you respect but I expect it in return.
I am at the "it's my time now" stage. Child has moved out. Ready to find a partner who wants to walk down that trail with me, see those sights with me and dance that dance with me.
I may not have the most luxurious job in the world, but it suits me just fine. Pays my bills, and allows me to contribute to the 401K!
I enjoy a variety of music and televison. Love the person who invented DVR - that way I'm not tied to the TV. I can sit down whenever and catch up on crime/cop shows ,DIY shows, HBO and Starz shows and recently released movies.
I don't mind yard work, or house cleaning...would be nice to have someone to share these tasks with. A Saturday of gardening and cleaning and then sit back and enjoy the beauty of our labor with each other and a bottle of wine, or cooking out with friends - that's a good day!
I'm not real big into football but will watch on those "special occasions" and enjoy going to games. I like to watch baseball and hockey games. I am not the type to keep you from your hobbies, unless you do forget to pay attention to me, then I'll remind you- gently.
I would love to travel, have not been to a lot of places but do love seeing the sights. On my "bucket list" is Ireland, Austalia, and Alaska. I also love the weekend trips to Branson, Memphis, New Orleans, Dallas..
I was raised Catholic, attended Methodist churches and now I classify myself and a spiritual person, but don't attend church regularly.
I have fun things that I like to do with my friends and I'm sure you do to. If you want to hunt all day on Black Friday then I'll find gal pals to go shop with. It's all good. We just have to remember that there also has to be times that are just for us.
As long as there is trust, understanding, compassion and willingness to agree to disagree then there just might be possibilities.
