Date people from Henderson, United States. Hello everyone and thank you for your interest. First, I am the father of 2 teenagers, my girl just graduated in May, and my boy finished his freshman year. My girl is going off to college in Texas, and my son wants to also. We moved here from Texas 10 years ago. When my son graduates in May 2015 I will be moving to the NE Fort Worth, Texas area. So, if you are not willing to move to Texas, sorry I’ve wasted your time, but I wanted to get that out early. All my friends are there and I am ready to get back. It’s not that I don’t like Colorado, because I really do like living here. Texas is home and that’s where I am going. I am now starting a new chapter in my life. Was married for over twenty years, but that is over and it's time to move on.
OK, that’s out of the way. I enjoy participating in and watching sports. Love going to baseball games. If I were to ever play the lottery and somehow won, I would play golf everyday. I like to watch movies and the only news I watch is on Fox News. I am conservative, but recognize that Republicans don’t always do the most intelligent things. I like having intelligent conversations about issues of the day. I don’t believe our country is on the right track and enjoy the debate about it.
Since separating, I have been working out, 5 times a week, in an effort to shift the weight in my gut, back up to my arms, shoulders and chest where it used to be. The picture with my kids shows me at my fattest.
Was so kid centered for so long I really haven't gotten out and about in the area. Really want to go to new places learn new activities.
I would probably be considered old fashioned because I believe in things like integrity, honesty, character and loyalty. When I use the phrase "because it's the right thing to do", or "that shows the kind of character he or she has", people sometimes look at me funny, but that's who I am and I won't apologize for it. I hold open doors for all women. I love laughing and can laugh at myself also. I have been told I have a nice smile, which I appreciate. It's because I am a happy person. I believe the Lord blessed me with this trait, and am thankful for it. Life is too short to be unhappy or angry all the time.
I am looking for a petite to average size lady who knows what she wants also. Belief in Jesus Christ is important as is going to church on a weekly basis for a spiritual refill. Finding inspiration wherever it occurs. I find myself choked up and in tears sometimes when it happens. For instance in Apollo 13 when the astronauts reestablish contact after over 4 minutes I still tear up. Probably have seen this movie 10 times and it still brings tears to my eyes. It’s man overcoming obstacles that moves me.
