I work in the fabulous world of TV! I will give you a moment to gather yourself from that awesome bombshell. . . . . Okay, welcome back. It really is not all that glamorous, I am a special programs producer which is a fancy way to say I deal with our special interest type stuff. The hours are sometimes long and it can be stressful, but it is a very rewarding career! Notice I said career, not job. I have worked very hard to get where I am, I expect any potential woman I am interested in to have the same values.
I am very driven in other aspects of my life outside of work. Writing is a passion of mine and I completed my first novel last April. I'm not going to lie to you, it wasn't great . . . although I sure thought it was at the time. I rushed it out to agents the day I finished the manuscript and though it got pretty far with a few of them, it never really got farther than that. I am in a constant state of reworking that novel while randomly writing other things. As you can tell, I am quite verbose!
I am a loving and lovable good man. I know its an old adage, but nice guys usually do finish last in love, heck Sleepless in Seattle was all about this (Meg Ryan leaves the stable nice guy for an off chance at some random guy). I can't really say that I blame her though, I mean it was Tom Hanks for crying out loud! I don't swing that way, but Tom Hanks is one handsome dude (although he is in his fifties now, so maybe this statement is even weirder than I originally anticipated).
I am caring, stable, and cuddly. I a masculine man who is in touch with his feminine side, and yeah that is a weird thing to say, but I really am a giant contradiction. I can listen to your problems all night and then go out and change your oil the next morning.
I've also lost over a hundred pounds over the last couple of years as I've moved from too big to average to what I would consider a slightly athletic look. My goal for this time next year is to add some tone. I am still a big guy though, I mean I am nearly 6' 6" and I am built broad, but I think a man should be built like that. In junior high and high school, I was constantly asked to join the football team, but I wouldn't do it for fear of hurting someone. I like to think there is some former Pointer running back who can play with his kids today because I chose not to enter the fray. I imagine his name is Frank, no particular reason, I just don't like faceless imaginings.
The bottom line is this, I am one of the kindest and most compassionate people you will ever meet. I want to find someone that is empathetic, kind, and just a sweetheart. I would also like to find someone with some drive in her life, a couple of my best friends have dated (and married) women who don't want to do anything but set at home and wait for her husband to get home. I am not trying to dog any girl out her that is doing that, but for me, I would like somebody with more aspirations than slowly turning into a couch. I stay busy at work, I'm not saying that she should be as committed as I am, to be honest, that would be pretty hard to do.
Other things I am looking for, I'm glad you asked. I would like to find somebody who is intelligent, I can't stand when I come across a woman who has nothing better to talk about than what Khloe said to Kourtney on E! last night. Someone who likes big, meddling families in the vein of My Big Fat Greek Wedding or Everybody Loves Raymond. Joking aside, I am close to my clan and that won't change, but I certainly love the idea of adding members! Speaking of which, I am looking for the one, but that doesn't mean I am just going to pin back my ears and marry anyone, I am very picky, but just know that I am not interested in a long term casual relationship.

Other than that, I'm a very simple man who takes everything into consideration in my life. Some other things I should probably mention.. I loveee cooking! I can make something that tastes horrible into something that tastes like heaven. Just saying.. ;) When I say I have my own sense of humor, It pretty much expands to anything and everything. It can be boring kid jokes to disgusting things your ears have probably never had the privilege to hear.
