Date men and women from United States / Arkansas / Eureka Springs, 73 year old

Date a woman from Arkansas, United States. My passion?.
I love writing and for most of my life my income was based on that ability although I branched out into other business areas -- executive management and entrepreneurship among them. Traveled a lot in my work; now I want to travel only for pleasure. Retired to write fiction recently: December 2011. Currently attempting to write a political thriller. May never go anywhere with it, but so far I have won five or six VERY MINOR awards for short stories. Minor -- but it doesnРІР‚в„ўt take much to encourage me.
During my career I have been a credentialed member of Oklahoma State Capitol press corps, covering House, Senate and Governors Office. Editor of three international print publications. Web content editor/wriiter. Also speechwriter and prepared white papers and backgrounders for congressional and state legislative testimony. Plus headed up two international trade associations.
Prior to Eureka I resided in Oklahoma City, Chicago, Atlanta. Born in a small town in eastern Oklahoma; grew up on small cattle ranch.
What am I grateful for?
I am generally happy and healthy. Two marriages: one ended in divorce and one in widowhood. Financially stable. (Not looking to marry again.)
One adult married daughter and terrific son-in-law. Two also terrific granddaughters now in their teens.
I sing in the shower and I am not bad in a pair of jeans. Yes, I know. You want to see a photo. My goodness, whereРІР‚в„ўs your sense of adventure? (See 3RD PARAGRAPH BELOW.) Besides, patience has its rewards!
Who am I looking for?
He should be a lot like me. Loves reading, movies--classics and ones with real plots, live theater, museums, travel. Strong self-esteem and good sense of humor. Likes college football and basketball. Especially U of Okla, the Arkansas Razorbacks and U of Kansas.
There! I guess that narrows it down just a bit.
Philosophy/World View ---
Whether we are ten or a hundred and ten, life should remain an adventure, a process of learning and discovery. We are not permitted to see around corners; we just have to fill in the blanks as we go. I have found the journey is best when shared with a kindred soul.
