Call me old fashioned, but I still believe in "ladies first", opening the door for a lady, and putting her needs ahead of mine. They say nice guys finish last...oh well!
I enjoy doing just about everything related to the outdoors - golf (listed first for a reason!), racquetball, camping, hiking, canoeing, hunting, fishing, playing and attending sports, just about anything in or around lakes and streams. I recently bought a kayak and really enjoy floating and fishing. I also enjoy spending time looking around antique shops and flea markets. My music interests vary - I listen to 60's and 70's classic rock, blues, jazz, and some country, - blues is by far my favorite.
I've been divorced a few years now and even though I'm enjoying the freedom that comes with being single, I'm beginning to miss the companionship that comes with being in a relationship. I don't do the bar scene unless I'm out with friends, and I'm not a "player", at this point in my life I'm not really into playing games. I'm looking for someone who can be honest about themselves from the very beginning. I've met a couple of very nice women thru the Personals - I've also met some that were nothing like their profiles - please don't contact me if you can't be honest about who you are.
My closest friends describe me as very easy going and I'm often described by friends as "one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet". Not sure if that's a good thing or not! I also get told a lot that I look much younger than I am - people are usually surprised when they find out my actual age.
I'm looking for someone that is athletic enough to enjoy doing at least some of the things I enjoy...would love having a racquetball and golf partner! Hunting and fishing would be a plus, but certainly not necessary. I'll respect your need to spend time with your friends as long as you respect mine! I want somebody to be there with me and for me, but it's not necessary for us to be together 100% of the time.
