Let's face it: love is "not" something that will "ever" happen at first sight. It happens only when two people finally take the time to "know" one another. They know each others cares, concerns, worries, fears, and emotions. Its only "then" does love begin to blossom, and they realize they are needing one another, for every feeling, for every thought, and for every moment that makes their heart skip a beat. Sorry, but that doesn't happen at "first sight."
I retired from the Army in 2002. I have been to more countries, and have seen more cultures then most average people will ever see in a life time. I've traveled more during my career then I could ever possibly account for. Now I can finally travel at leasure, and not have to worry about having to stay for months and years at a time.
I am truly not interested in the size or shape of a possible partners "bust line," or the multitude of "bottom" shots someone is willing to take. I sincerely believe that some things are best kept a secret until its time to "share" that with someone special. It may not be a "normal" thing for a man to say, but I have a beautiful mother, three beautiful sisters, and one 18 yo daughter. I have learned over the years that being respectful of yourself "first," is the first step in finding a life time partner who will respect you "unconditionally" forever!
I love that women are confident enough today, esp as they get older, that they feel "comfortable" with who they are and the shape that God has given them. Far be it from me to suggest, but I truly believe that the allure of attracting a potential life time mate is not with the amount of skin a woman can show him, but in what she keeps a secret until he "earns" that right to see it.
Respect for one's own self goes further, for me, then any one charastic she may list. Its just me, and how I take things I guess. I'm not a full paid member yet. I am extermely busy with the renovations on my home, so I am just seeing what I have been missing for a bit. Not a "dating" site kind of person. Not that I'm saying its my only option, but I figured since everyone else is doing it, why not give it a try.
