I'm really easy to get along with, and gentlemanly. I'm affectionate and I treasure the woman I want to be with. I've never had a problem with staying at home for a movie or some TV together on the couch. I like cooking and making dinner together because it's a great time to share. I'll treat you like a lady during the day, but naughty at night is the way I roll... Not looking to sleep with a woman so much as I am finding one worth waking up to.
But, I don't like excessive arguing, fighting or people who have problems with controlling their temper. So if you yell when you get mad, bully, get ugly, or yell at other drivers in a fit of road rage, etc... while I'm with you, I will not understand that kind of behavior. Growing up, my father could not control his temper and I find that inexcusable to this day. I will usually choose NOT to be around someone with whom I have problems getting along with, whatever the reason. A minimum of drama is always a good thing, but I can handle drama, or a problem, if the mutual love and caring is there.
Friendship beyond the level of attraction is definitely the goal. As is, good communication, compromise, and mutually developing a personal interest in "our" well-being and having a good life together. The bottom line is that I want to be happy and to make someone happy, ...about everything!
I'm a non-smoker and skeptical about long distance relationships. I like country and classic rock stations on the radio. I like dogs better than cats, but I love all animals, (...especially the ones on the dinner table!) ;0) So, there's the nutshell version of "ME"! I guess the rest should be left for getting to know each other, huh?
