Meet someone special from Arkansas, United States. My name is Jonathan. I'm 30 years old. Its hard to talk about myself...I farm a very big farm so I get to be outside a lot, which I enjoy. Anything outside... hiking, fishing, hunting, playing sports, camping, riding four wheelers, bonfires with friends. But I also enjoy going out. I like to travel, and have many trips planned for this year already. Family and friends are important to me. Meet a man from Arkansas, United States. I'm not really so sure about all of this, but hey, what do I really have to lose here? I guess, if I had to choose one adjective to describe myself, it would be "adventurous." I love the process of discovering the unknown, whether it be going somewhere I've never been or learning how to do something I've never done. Life is short, and I don't want to be sitting around on my front porch in fifty years wishing I had done such-and-such. Every day presents new opportunities, and I firmly believe in taking advantage of those opportunities when they arise.
I really, really enjoy good music. Live, recorded, whatever. Music is the universal language, and for me, it's the closest I'll ever come to understanding God. It's a rare moment that I don't have something playing through my headphones at work or on the stereo when I'm at home.
I love to travel. If I had unlimited funds and nonexistent responsibilities, I'd probably spend the rest of my life wandering the planet just to see what's out there. And I'd do it on a motorcycle. Or an airplane, since I'm operating in the alternate reality of unlimited funds here. Unfortunately, life doesn't quite work like that, so I'll keep riding my motorcycle to work and maybe one day will be able to afford that airplane.
Reading is something I enjoy but don't get to do as much as I would like. I enjoy keeping up with the news and reading on various historical topics (I was a history major, after all). For fun, I like 20th-century fiction (Hemingway is my fave, I think, but there's so much quality stuff out there, it's really hard to say). I guess I kind of view the 20th century as the pinnacle of human civilization. I'm not so sure about kids these days...
Well, that's enough about me (and if you're still reading this, I'm sure you'll agree). I'm looking for someone who has a strong sense of self, someone who shares a curiosity about the world and wants to experience more of it, someone who is looking for better than just good enough.
