My family moved to the Memphis area for awhile, and then settled in Fort Smith, AR when I was 10 and I've been in this area ever since. I love this area, and have no desire to live in a big city again. Even though I was born in California, I claim Arkansas as my home.
I come from a big family (7 kids), so family is a very important part of my life. At the same time, out of all my brothers and sisters I'm probably the most independent.
