Well, I am not drunk so I will have to write and edit this mother sober. As stated, I am a 26 year old male, looking for cool people to talk to for the most part. If some sort of "spark" happens, I will welcome it.
Education:
I am about to finish my grad school with a degree in instructional technology. I am on the last leg of this degree and I cannot wait until I do not have to go to school, that is, until I start my doctorate; that is in another five years away at minimum. I got my bachelors in history, which is pretty much a throw away degree unless I decided to become an archaeologist a la Indiana Jones....if that happens my first purchases will be a leather jacket, a bull whip, and a fear of snakes.
Hobbies/Interest:
I am into a lot of things. Whatever the hobby or interest, I pretty much will learn every aspect of said hobby until I have become awesome at it. If you told me to pick my favorite movie....I'd go with The Big Lebowski, but a few others are close to take it's position (Pineapple Express, Hot Fuzz, Black Dynamite). My music taste varies, I like a lot of stuff...I could talk all day about music. I have been big into cooking lately and am trying several different recipes on a weekly basis.
Anythings else:
I think everyone can agree that the whole internet dating thing is sort of weird but interesting. I like talking and will probably ask you a zillion questions. On top of that, I also tend to write novels when I talk so bear with me if I am too wordy....Um yeah anyways...any other questions just ask!

I was raised in Hamburg, AR, but I'm originally from San Diego, so I'm a huge Chargers and Padres fan. I graduated from Arkansas State, so I'm a big Red Wolves fan, too. Football season is definitely my favorite time of year. My faith is a big part of my life, as well as taking care of myself and trying to be healthy.

I'm a short nerdy guy living in Fort Smith, figured I'd post this even though I can't really imagine much of anyone in Fort Smith being someone I'll have enough in common with for a good relationship and the odds of one of those few people being on here are even lower, as most of what I've seen on dating sites are women who want:
A) Your stereotypical country guy that you can find about anywhere you wander into in this particular geographical area.
B) Tall dark and handsome...they seem to be unwilling to budge on the "tall" part and being as I am only 5'4" this isn't something I can really work with.
C) People I do actually have a few things in common with but unfortunately not NEAR enough to have a relationship with or that the attraction isn't there for a relationship.
But, even with those things out there, I figured what the heck. Let's give it a shot. So here I am, putting myself out there for you all to judge (if there is even anyone judging) and seeing what comes of this. I work a lot and spend time with friends and family where I can, I love gaming (it's been my primary hobby my whole life) though I find myself falling away from it a bit as I start to grow older. I love sci-fi and fantasy novels, TV and movies and find myself gravitating toward those more and more as time goes by so I suppose I'm not getting any less nerdy. I have a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor, yet very rarely manage to offend people with the things I say. I'm guessing it's because I'm short enough that people feel like, if it came down to it, they could probably beat me up so they let me get away with saying things.
Recently, I've taken up an interest in wine and drink a glass or two a night (not getting hammered, but experimenting and figuring out what I like) and a woman who IS NOT AN ALCOHOLIC but has a taste for and knowledge of wine and drinking responsibly would be a welcome companion in my new hobby. Ideally I'd like to find someone I can share some interests with who won't mind me making a reference to a Penny Arcade comic from a year ago or a random funny web post. I do also have a pretty big love of basketball as well, so they have to be willing to put up with that when the NBA is up and running. Especially during the playoffs.
