Date men and women from United States / Arizona / Tsaile, 31 year old

Date people from Tsaile, United States. I am an introverted teacher looking to meet someone who I can talk with and just sit quietly with. I live in Tsaile, on the Navajo reservation. I have also had a few other careers and jobs, including tech support.
I'm looking for intelligence, character, responsibility and maturity. I would like to have children eventually, and you should, too. I am a "long walk on the beach" type of person -- I like scenic walks, scenic drives, dirt roads, serene deserts, sunsets, the sound of rain on the window, the smell of burning leaves, the way snow makes everything so quiet and pure, and those perfect spring days when the air is so fresh you just can't get enough. I constantly drive around aimlessly, even with these sky-high gas prices. As long as there's good music in the car and beautiful autumn leaves outside, I'm happy. I'm not really a nature person, though -- I don't like skiing or hunting or fishing or any of that stuff. I guess you could say I like to look, not interact.
I'm also sort of practical, in that I like to think about and plan for the future. I love to watch t.v., though I'm picky about what I like. I would love someone who doesn't think t.v. is a waste of time, but also who wants to do other things. When I'm not watching t.v., I am listening to music. I can't get enough music, and I just have to have it playing in the background. I like all types of music, including country, rock and folk. If you have heard of Phil Ochs, I would love to meet you. I can't go into Borders without going bankrupt, but on the up side, I'm pretty open to a lot of different music. I've been learning to play the guitar for the past few years because I like making music, too (though I sing much better than I play).
I recently (about two years ago) joined/formed a bluegrass/folk band with some other teachers. So far we do a lot of practicing. We have had a few gigs, but since it's so rural and isolated here, they are few and far between. We have fun, though.
I am very independent -- I live alone, I support myself completely, I work full-time, I even occasionally do my laundry. If there's something I want to attend (like a folk concert), I have no problem going alone -- but I'd love to find someone who shares my interests.
Misanthrope that I am, I do enjoy talking with my co-workers and friends and meeting socially in small circles. I'm just not the partying type.
This profile is making me sound like I have no sense of humor whatsoever! I do have a twisted sense of humor, but I love laughing.
