Meet men and women from United States. I believe we are a product of our experience, and at the risk of mistaking things I’ve done for who I am, I’ll offer some random pieces of my puzzle:
I have been a shepherd to a flock of Dorset sheep, and have hence had the honor of delivering a lamb on the first day of Spring. I can ride bareback. I have flown an airplane a number of times, I give a good massage...can operate any machine or tool found in a woodshop; and can design and build a house. Watchful friends say I’m a great Dad, my 15 y.o. daughter’s friends think I’m “chill”; It took me 3 months to walk 600 miles across Utah cross-country. I talk to birds and plants, can surf a twelve foot wave if there’s no coral below, and have spent 24 hrs blindfolded just to see what being blind was like. I’ve had wild birds fly to my finger several times…tickled an octopus 30� underwater while holding my breath in Jamaica; ..I get along famously with sea turtles. I was married for 18 years. I have cooked 300 dinners in one evening at a restaurant, and befriended a huge purebred black Arabian stallion known for his bad biting habit. I loved Mom and Dad more than you can imagine,.. and miss them deeply. I have lain prone in the shallow foxhole of a civil war sniper and imagined the terror. I’ve sat down next to a rattlesnake by accident; lived in a teepee during winter in upstate N.Y., a 10x18 cabin tent for 2 years in the desert, and now I’ve built my house on the edge of the forest. I use the principles put forth in “The Secret” when I bowl, plan trips with satellite photos, and open doors for everyone. I like to paint. While surfing, I�ve had a baby whale surface next to me; stepped on a shark and have been mercilessly cutoff by dolphins.. Fall is my favorite time of the year. So is Spring. I have worn a pink sarong on the slopes of Mt. Agung; I buy myself fresh flowers every week, …I am comfortable pondering linearly, tangentially, laterally and circumfrentially. History fascinates me to no end. I dislike arguments but love a deep discussion.. I�m nice to waiters, I have seen the first Navajo Sun Dance ever, and the last Hopi Snake Dance that whites were permitted to attend. I forget to watch TV. I’ve found the Golden Rule to be a pretty fine guide to living and interacting with others; I like to look at life as a verb; honesty, integrity, trust and authenticity are big, fat important concepts for me. I eat healthy food. I am an INFJ in the Myers-Briggs-personality-type; I’m always up by dawn…and a quintessential Libra. I believe the only ways to truly learn are by either boldly going forth and making mistakes, or by asking lots of questions. I’m fond of both. I’ve never separated whites from colors when doing laundry; I try and be aware of the first time I laugh every day, as well as when the crickets begin and end during the year. I’m told I’m a good listener/empath; I love my friends with all my might, have a relatively dry wit, and will often laugh out loud at things that happened some time ago. The concept of Love, Devotion and Surrender has much more meaning to me now than it did in 1973. So does grace and tenderness.

You are confident, curious, kind, sweet-hearted, fun, sensual and silly…perhaps a tad mischievous; passionate, interesting looking (to me), possessing a creative mind/spirit…love to laugh, take care of yourself, eat healthy, like to do even mundane things with your partner. Balanced, a great communicator, emotionally available, energetic, adventurous…naughty and nice. Brownie points if you’ve got dimples. I have traveled extensively, and been fortunately enough to see much of the U.S. and other countries. Literally love Arizona, where I moved to in 2011, for its beauty and vastness. Have much to see here, including traveling the Arizona portion of Route 66 on my Harley, which I expect to do this fall. I am content and not needing someone to complete me or my life. Date a woman from Sedona, United States. I enjoy a life filled with good fortune, good health, and great friends. I'm kind of a free-spirit type now living full time in beautiful Sedona. Happy, optimistic, energetic, intelligent, adventurous, independent, and creative are words that I believe fairly describe me. I enjoy cooking beautiful, healthy meals and sharing them with friends. I enjoy wine and fine dining, almost as much as I enjoy grilling at home and listening to Pandora radio.
I'm retired and love it, although I am exploring some volunteer work opportunities. This great period of my life is filled with hikes, cooking, reading, yoga and exercise, and various creative pursuits. I would really enjoy finding a like-minded man to share my life. I have been fortunate in my two primary relationships (one for 22 years, one for 10 years), and those relationships ended amicably. As I have grown up (yikes!), I find that my tastes and my needs have evolved also. At this point, the qualities I cherish most in a relationship are emotional intimacy, laughter, respect, wit, curiosity, generosity of spirit, and the ability to share one's love freely and with affection. What does that all mean? I don't know...it sounds more complicated than it feels. My partner is someone who is kind, intelligent, confident, tolerant and ready to grow past the casual dating scene into something more meaningful and less transient. Although I am quite independent, I love chivalrous, masculine men - I know it is a bit of a paradox, but that is the way I feel.
Shall I be honest and tell you a few of my "lesser" attributes? I'm mechanically-challenged, and can't tell jokes without starting with the punch line first. I am pretty short (not freaky short, about 5'5") and have to stand on my tip toes at times to hug tall people and reach for things in upper cabinets. When I feel intensely about a subject, I don't hesitate to share that intensity. I have a short fuse for insincere and phony people, or for that matter, for people who cling to insincere and phony people because they think it enhances their public image or self-esteem. I basically avoid people who are racially prejudiced, thoughtless, unkind for no reason, and/or ill-mannered. I admit to being very visual, and feel that interpersonal chemistry is an indispensable asset to any loving relationship. Classic handsome "good looks" matter far less to me than what is inside a man.
I have been on this site very briefly over the last year and a half, and have met a couple of men, one of whom I dated for a while, but the relationship was challenged by geographic and emotional distance, and other obstacles. Although I can be shy, I'd like to try Match again and would enjoy making new friends in the process.

My job is rather intense (which I love) however, I balance that out with my love for nature and my horse. I love to camp with (or without) my horse somewhere cool and exciting. I also love to hike or be on a lake somewhere. I love the mountains and fortunately I live close to them. I love to be around people that make me laugh and people that like to have fun in life. I am not at all into drama as there is no fun in that at all. I have awesome friends and family and love them all. Your probably going to want to have a horse if your want to hang around with me. No need to beat around the bush about that because out side of work, I spend most my time with my horse somewhere beautiful and with good friends. If I'm not hanging out with my horse, I'm traveling somewhere cool.
BTW I am not at all into the bar or night club phony scene. There are so many other fun things to do besides being hit on in a bar especially when someone has had far too much to drink. Matter of fact, If you drink more than one drink you are probably not my kind of guy. I'm not into the drinking scene either. If you like a glass of wine or a cold beer on a hot summer day, there is nothing wrong with that though. A man in my life has to enjoy the finer things in life and none of that includes phony, materialist egos.
Must have a love for nature, animals and life and have the ability to be true to yourself and honest with others. A self confident, independent, fun loving, down to earth man just might spark my interest. Of course, if your spontaneous, adventurous, fun and ready for anything, that would definitely spark my interest.
