I have just recently moved to Arizona from Kansas with the conclusion of my deployment to Africa. I'm completely new to everything here and know nobody - other than people from work. I'm a infantry officer in the military and I've been all over the world and the US because of it. On the civilian side, I'm a professional backcountry guide and usually in the Grand or Paria Canyons taking thrill seeking people on an adventure of a lifetime. I've been pulled from the dating scene for a long while now and it's about time that I jump back in. No great adventure is worth having if it can't be shared, right?
I enjoy taking spontaneous adventures to who knows where. I enjoy the small things in life, friendship, hand made greeting cards, a short walk, you name it. I'm a slight adrenaline junky - I'm always looking for the next big thing. I'm also quite crafty. I've made things such as baskets, indian medicine pouches, chainmail, and a mac book cover made from the skin of a puff adder (snake). I'm the sort of guy that you could give a few toothpicks and a pocket knife to and would build you a 5 star hotel with all the amenities. I don't do so well when things are stagnant, I'll find a way to take the opportunity to learn something new or make something better. I can be quite random at times with huge sparks of energy to completely chill watching movies. I'm the kind of guy that says 'why not' instead of just 'why'. I don't play games, never have been a fan of them either.
I'm looking for that one special woman. She is unique, original, free-thinking, independent and intelligent. She loves being outside - no matter the weather. She basks in her own quirkiness and style - regardless what anyone says. She is loyal, caring, and deep. She is optimistic even though she knows failure and fear. She seizes the day and makes it hers. She doesn't criticize short comings, but is there to help brush off the dirt. She doesn't play the gender card, yet commands respect. She seeks happiness in everything she does. It also doesn't hurt if she likes zombies.
