My day is never boring. Or at least it isnРІР‚в„ўt to me. I live in an area that is conducive to many outdoor activities which may include an early morning 5:00 AM ski- or a hike to somewhere where it feels like no in the world has ever set foot, or a day on the beach- lounging, reading and playing bocce ball.
I have active and spontaneous friends who help support my need for activity and adventure. Most of our adventures are not planned; sometimes leading to disaster- but always ending in a good story! Life is about making memories, experiencing things for the first time and making each day a bit better than the day before.
That being said- sometimes, making this day better than yesterday, is curling up on the couch reading a book or bbq-ing with friends or simply cleaning the house-(which I find therapeutic when I can crank my music up and sing at the top of my lungs- pretending the neighbors can hear).
My friends have nicknamed me Bob Fonda Stuart. A cross between Martha Stuart, Bob Villa and Jane Fonda. Which I guess describes me quite well when I think about it. (is there more subdued counterpart to “survivor man” that I could add to that nickname? I can’t think of one )
As with everyone on this site- I do enjoy traveling. I have traveled “some” but not near as much as I would like to. Ive been to some pretty great places but my list of where I want to go is steadily growing. My idea of travel is finding somewhere where I can be active- but I also love to relax and just breathe.
I have a fantastic job that is both rewarding and challenging. I am never bored and the people I meet and interact with on a daily basis both inspire and humble me.

I'm an open book but sometimes my cute giggles (been told my laugh is sexy cute) will tell you when I’m shy or nervous. I love animals, rafting, hiking, snowy nights when it falls soft, slow and there's not a sound for miles except the crunching under your feet, snowball fights, sledding, Christmas, Fall in the Midwest, a childs’ laughter, great hugs, impromptu kisses, cartoons and the fact my father still calls me kid. I enjoy travel, photography, learning, challenges, and chocolate. I’m an addict though… chocolate, diet coke, ice water, and fresh baked cookies. I have great fun playing pool and darts although I suck at it so I’ll just tell people I kicked your butt hard and giggle. I enjoy chess and board games. I guess I would much rather wear life out then sit around and rust it out. I live in Page/Lake Powell (Utah line there about) and it’s a beautiful playground and I’m a fun tour guide :)
