Date men and women from United States / Arizona / Gilbert, 73 year old

Date people from Gilbert, United States. You'll find me honest, genuine, fun to be with and attracted to compassionate, humorous and honest men who are not afraid to share their life and feelings with a warm and caring person. My favorite pastime is whatever I'm doing at the moment. I love beauty and romance and I;m willing to share the best of life with those I care about. Spontaneity fits my style - it shows flexibility in a person and what's more fun than to receive an invitation at the last moment to do something silly with someone you enjoy being with.
Independence for both is important but sharing philosophical, light and in-depth conversations about current events and past lives is also important to me.
I'm extremely loyal to family and friends and would want you to be also. Finding that person who is happy with his life but wants to share that happiness by adding my presence to it, is what I am seeking.

Meet a soulmate from Gilbert, United States. Being kind and giving to people is my belief. I surround myself with happy people as am I. Life is abundant and I believe in partaking of this with my friends. I would like to find a friend Who likes nature, educational venues and, especially jazz music. This person MUST be positive. I abhor complainers and those who place blame on others for their situation. If he enjoys dancing it is a plus and if he is Italian it is another plus. I am a very social person and love to meet new people. My dearest friends say I have a great sense of humor--this is what life is about--enjoying everything. Family values are very important to me.

Date a woman from Gilbert, United States. My youngest son once told me that I was "the most awesome person he has ever known." Pretty neat coming from my son! I don't kow how true it is, but it sure meant a lot to me. Friends have called me "nutty norm" on occasion...guess I have done some nutty things in my life. I once fell while walking my dog, got my face all bruised, and then told my co-workers that I had been in a fight in a biker bar. Got lots on fun reaction and lots of laughs when I told them it was all a joke. As you can see, I like to have fun and have a sense of humor that might be called unique. I loved my travel to Italy a few years ago and would love to go back some day. Also want to learn to speak Spanish as my son is married to a Hispanic woman and I would love to talk to her and her family in their native language. Some of my most favorite times are with my grandchildren. I enjoy going to their events, especially their sporting events, but miss a lot of their lives as they live in California and Ohio. I spent a lot of time at my children's games when they were young, often three games in one day...and loved it! Guess that's why I am such a sports fan today. When I lived in Cincinnati, I did my gardening in the summer months at 5:00 in the morning or at midnight because of the heat and humidity. Now in Arizona, I do it at 5:00 in the morning also, but skip the midnight hour; better things to do at midnight than dig in the dirt. The current political scene is very interesting and exciting to me. I have not yet committed to any of those multitude of candidates currently on the scene and running for office, but have been following several of them closely. Don't quite know if we are ready for a woman or an African/American President, but am listening to Hilary and Barack. Hilary is "old Washington" snd Barack is "new Washington." Which is better? Guess we'll find out. And then there is McCain.....a fine American but don't know if he'll ever make it to the White House. I think the 2008 election will be one of the most important in recent history. I used to travel to California often (even lived there for 10 years) and really enjoy the beach in the very early morning. I've walked the beach when the seagulls and I were the only ones around. A wonderful experience....so quiet and peaceful. I spend time on the computer every day and communicate with friends and relatives through e/mail. My AOL buddy list is 76 names long, and I love to jump into instant message mode when I see one of them on line. My 8 year old granddaughter in Ohio loves to spend time on Sunday mornings "taling" to her Grandmother on line....and of course I love it too! So, guess that's some things about me that may be interesting. And am I "awesome"....well a person would have to get to know me and decide for themselves. Interested?
