Well to be perfectly honest, im a big sports guy. March Madness, any football game (espically Dallas Cowboys), golf, etc.. So she would hopefully be able to sit though the games every once in a while.
I was brought up by my mother and my grandfather. Since I didnt have alot of my father in my life, my grandfather stepped in quite a bit. He is the person I look up to most in life, even though he has been gone for a while. One of the biggest things he taught me was how to treat people, mostly girls. I get my social nature from him, cause its not from my mother or father. John Robertson, my grandfather, was what some people call a Man's man.. A person that every guy wants to be and every girl ends up wanting (I think im only half that statement haha or maybe not even that). Beyond what people thought of him though, its what he thought of himself that mattered the most. The man taught me quite a bit before he passed on, the biggest being one or two things: "Never count your chickens before they hatch" (which I always still do) and "Try not to take advantage of something for it will be gone before you know it."
I love to go out for dinner... Do a bottle of wine or something classy. So hopefully the girl likes to be treated. Oh and if she drinks whiskey thats gotta be a huge plus.
I am trying this out for one reason above any other.... I went to visit a buddy on the West Coast and he used this site. He introduced his gril, which he had met on here a few months ago (and wow was I impressed). I dont mind the dating game or the chase (to be perfectly honest im not half bad at the game haha), but for some reason its getting old. It would be amazing to meet someone that is looking for an actual connection instead of some dumb fling.

I was stationed in Japan for three years and now I'm definitely addicted to traveling and experiencing new cultures.
