Since I have my own business, I find that meeting people and talking to people is really my thing. I have been alone for the past 4 years since my husband passed away from cancer. He was my best friend and my love and I feel the meeting someone who has the same interests as me would be a fun and nice thing. I also don't ask too much, only being honest and caring which is the most important thing. I also feel that a relationship is based on sincerity. It doesn't have to be a permanent one, just being a companion to have coffee with, maybe seeing a funny movie or just sitting and talking is really all I want. I am a "softy" when it comes to animals. I had a black lab that was my best friend when my husband died and when she got so sick that I had to put her to sleep, it was devasting. I miss her so much. I did work for the vet for months after she died and I just loved all the patients and soothed them. I work at the Diamonbacks when they are in town taking tickets on the Suite level. I get to meet so many people doing that job. I use a scooter when I have far to walk but I have been feeling much better now that my legs are working so well. Really nothing keeps me down. I guess that I could run circles around people half my age.

I have never seen water so blue or sand so soft and white even though I'm from Florida. I would love to visit Spain, the Greek Isles and Italy someday. Would you care to pack your suitcase and join me? As much as I like to get out and have fun, one of my favorite things to do is get in my sweats and cuddle up with a good book. It's amazing how quickly you can get lost in another world just by opening the cover. You know you've read a good book when you turn the last page and feel a little as if you have lost a friend.
As far as what I look for in a partner, physical appearance of course initially attracts me. but also most important is their intellect and enthusiasm for life. I value honesty and integrity and want to be with someone that fights for what they believe in and is willing to work toward accomplishing goals they have set for themselves. They would be healthy both psychologically and physically. I think good nutrition is important and I live a very healthy lifestyle and take care of myself. I would want to be with someone who does the same (but that doesn't mean I don't want to be taken out for a chimichanga or burrito every now and then)! I love to be with people who have a sense of humor and also those who take responsibility for their actions.
