Friends usually describe me as being confident and intelligent. I love to just be goofy and have fun. I am really laid back and just like to watch movies and cuddle with the one I'm with. I am a really big giver. I honestly get the most enjoyment out of knowing that I am making someone I care about feel really good. I like some sports like volleyball and racket ball and I also wakeboard and snow ski. I've even gone skydiving a couple of times! I will totally take anyone on in ping pong or video games too!
I definitely have a nerdy side. I love to read books, mostly nonfiction. I'm fascinated by the universe and all it's secrets and am also very interested in psychology and the brain. So I do have a deep thoughtful side that comes out sometimes. I also love traveling, learning about other cultures, and trying new ethnic restaurants. My job allows me to travel to meetings in cool places, so I'm definitely looking for someone to explore the world with.
Really I am looking for some sort of lasting relationship that has both passion and friendship. I want the one I'm with to feel totally relaxed and comfortable being herself and not feeling judged. I would hope to feel the same way with her. I want to be able to get dressed up and go out but also be able to be relaxed at home in my scrubby comfy clothes. I think girls can be cuter in scrubby PJs sometimes than dressed up so I'd hope they wouldn't worry about always having make up done n all that. I am not super picky about looks. Physical attraction is important to the passionate side of a relationship, but to me that can come a lot from things other than just body type. I just want someone who I can have fun talking to and that can make me laugh and smile.

I work a bunch, usually 50-60 hrs a week running a metal fabrication shop, working on fixing up the house I live in and restoring my old Chevy truck. I have the ability to see humor in just about everything that the universe is willing to show me. Probably to a fault as I have been told I can never take anything seriously. I am a very direct person and always honest about everything so much so that it gets me into trouble but it's just the way I am.
I have been in the same career for 10 years ever since the day I graduated high school. I am an acting forman for a small commercial painting contractor. I don't make a ton of money but I make enough and that is fine with me. I own a small house in Chandler and I love it. I have always considered living more important than stuff. Not that I don't enjoy nice things. It's just not my top priority. I believe in living modestly but happily.
I enjoy cooking. Mostly "like your mom used to make" simple rich food but I have been known to get fancy from time to time.
I have never been afraid to try new things. I jump into hobbies headfirst and as a result have too many that I don't have time for them all. I have many times said that I will try anything twice. I am not one to back down from a challenge.
My perfect match is simply someone who ejoys exploring the world and having fun. Someone who is not afraid to go on an adventure once in awhile even if it isn't planned. I need someone who is willing to accept me for who I am as I will admit I am not without fault but if you can get past the price of admission you will find that I am extremely loyal and caring.
In closing I guess my overall philosophy even though it may be cliche is that life is short so live it up and that the journey is more important than the destination. Never be afraid to make a wrong turn.
