Meet a boy from Alaska, United States. Hi, My name is Dan, and I am into lifting, competing in powerlifting, cooking, outdoor activities, video games, going to the movies, and hanging out friends. I really enjoy lifting because of the commeradery it attracts, over coming the challenge of hitting new PR's, and the way it makes me feel after a stressful day. Being in Alaska, one cant live here without enjoying some aspect of what this state has to offer. I really enjoy summer activites like camping, hiking, and fishing, however, I also enjoy winter and fall becuase thats when hunting season starts. As far as cooking goes, I really enjoy grilling, but can also do basic stove top and skillet dishes. My favorite movie genres are comedies, action, and horror; with my favorite movies being Wanted, Texas Chainsaw Massecure,Inglorious Bastards, Green Mile, Jack Ass 3D, and The Boondock Saints. I don't get to play video games as often as Id like because of school and work, but when I do, I usually play first person shooters like the Call of Duty Series. Finally, as far as a social life goes, I do have one, but its usually on the weekends with friends from school and powerlifting competitions.
As far as what I am looking for in a significant other, I like women who are about /- 4 inches of me (Im short, so I cant be too picky, lol), enjoy being active, but at the sametime likes to relax once in a while, can carry on a conversation, but not be excessively talkative, and someone who like me, has a busy schedule. I find it difficult to find time for a social life with school and work, but am willing to do my absolute best to try and make the time for my significant other if we find each other in a relationship.

I love music, but I have a tendency to focus on one band at a time - Currently Mumford & Sons, was Gogol Bordello and Cake a few months ago. I love doing nothing and just hanging out at home, but I also love going on epic adventures - Just haven't gone on any recently. While I'm not a super nerd, I do have quite a few nerdy interests - Like Warcraft & Warhammer, recently quit the former for Rift though, Nature documentaries and certain anime...I think it would be nice to meet someone who shares atleast one of those interests...the rest I can keep to myself :)
I'm a bit of a romantic, and all of my relationships over the past....8 years have been long-term...I have a strong tendency to be shy at first because I'm so unsure of myself up here for some reason, as soon as I'm comfortable though I am rather extroverted. People say I'm an immature old soul, because I don't openly react to much, and am usually calm and laid back but my sense of humor is a bit immature. I do have a tendency to say to much and since I don't react to things often, I forget people can get their feelings hurt super easy sometimes - Essentially when it comes to talking im either quiet, slightly obnoxious, insightful or overly open/honest :)
