Hmmm...What is it that I WANT exactly? :) I know I am someone who requires a good bit of adventure on a regular basis, to maintain being happy and content... or I grow bored very easily. My profession supplies me with quite a lot of that during the summer months... but I want a partner too! Someone who likes getting outside to get exersize, rather than just going to a gym. (I like scenery and wildlife, to go along with my "exersize") Wildlife Photography is a very BIG part of my life! Chasing Bears or Whales! Kayaking with Alligators! Snorkeling with Whale Sharks! I want an outdoorsman! (Preferably an Alaskan!) I DO NOT WANT a city boy! I want a healthy, strong, fit companion to sleep out under the stars with! Go Sheep Hunting w/every year! I'm an easy going "happy" person. I do not upset easily. Rarely get mad! (I DO loose my keys alot!) I LOVE Family and kids! And will absolutely LOVE being a "Grandma" some day! Can't wait for my son's to have kids! (So I can be the "REALLY Super Cool Grandma" that teaches them how to Bunny hunt with a bow! & take them Octopus hunting! & Dall Sheep hunting up in the Brooks! :) By the way, I"m not willing to "date" indefinately". Someone who lives life to the fullest every day, still has dreams of things he WANTS to do...and is not AFRAID to love again! My kids are now starting to raise their own families... & I want to have that "comfy" home life again! I believe staying physically active is HOW you stay healthy. I've never really had to "try" much, being that I get more exersize than most, just doing what I do & love. I "DO NOT" take ANY KIND OF DRUGS and would never date anyone that does. It shows a decided lack of charcter to "need" something to "feel good". :) I like eating healthy, and staying fit both for myself as well as for my partner.. and for a physical attraction to be there, I would require the same. But the most important qualities that I look for in a man are definately a sence of humor, and adventurious spirit! Someone who makes me laugh, who I can talk with easily, as though we were best friends, is WAY up their on my "list". You don't have to be a hiker or even a hunter... just someone who truly enjoys the outdoors in SOME WAY, the way I do! For ME it is Wildlife Photography and big game hunting (I LOVE Dall Sheep & Mountain Goat hunting in particular!) Kayaking is something I do a lot of here on Kodiak, both for fun as well as for work. I also go Mountain climbing! Rock Climbing! Skiing! Snow Shoeing! Swimming! Wind Surfing! Snorkeling! & love going someplace warm during the winter! BUT I DO LOVE ALASKA & plan on living HERE...at least during the summer months!
