If outdoor activities are possible then I will return. If night life and outdoor activities are abundant then I may stay a while. Currently I am at my Homer Alaska house (arrived on June 10th 2012). I lived in Bartlett IL for a yr, in upstate New York four years, Hawaii for four, Alaska from 1991 (I am still a resident), Utah and Idaho 2 years each and California the rest.
I can do almost anything and very seldom hire someone to do things for me. If I don't know how to do something I will learn. If you need something fixed I'm on it. I enjoy a challenge and find survival challenges are most rewarding and make good stories for my grand-kids.
I would like to find someone to love, travel, dance, fish and go boating with. She should be happy with herself and if she has a desire to find out what makes me tick she can have almost anything. I have been all over the state and have done things and seen things most people only dream of. I have worked with troubled youth in the state for 27 years with the same organization. I have been building my log home mostly on my on since 1997 and finally finished it last April. The house sits on a ridge, overlooking the mountains and the bay. I was born in Minnesota and raised catholic. I beleave in God, love my country, and as far as politics go I am a Conservative. I love to hunt and fish and have a nice boat in the harbor. I enjoy the outdoors and 4 wheeling and snowmobiling. I have a 17 year old stepson who I raised from birth, and now lives in the lower 48. I keep a clean house and love to cook, but Iam not much of a baker. Because of my job and my concealed weapons permit, I have to have FBI back-round checks done a regular basis, so at least you now you wont be dating a X-con or an Axe murderer. I am not looking for someone to save me, I am very comfortable in my own skin, and would like to find someone to share my heart and home with for the second 1/2 of my life.I am a very attentive and affectionate man and love to help with the dishes by nibbling on your neck while you stand at the sink. I am a good listener, however like most men I do not have ESP. I do operate very well when given a clear message by my mate.
