I'm no chef by any means but can cook a pretty good meal. Baking is a passion although I try not to do it too often so I'm not stuck with racks of cookies around and only myself to eat them.
Last summer I started golfing. Although I'm TERRIBLE at it, I am having soo much fun learning. I also tried wakeboarding for the first time in Montana. It took me a while to finally get the hang of it and when I did, I wasn't up for long. Running is my favorite destressor- it's just you and the pavement.
My job is amazing! It is the most rewarding occupation. I work with clients experiencing developmental disabilities & aid them with their daily routine. I also work with a small child with autism- cutest kid ever! Ever watch Parenthood? My job is just exactly like Gabby's :)
Fall and winter sports are my favorite. I love PAC 12 football, watching the World Series, and good ol' hockey. A Saturday afternoon with a Coors Light and football is a perfect autumn to me. I'm not super outdoorsy, I would love to be- just haven't really done anything about it. My family isn't the camping type but I've learned to love it since being on my own. I've been described as "mud in the morning and stillettos at night" which pretty much sums me up.
My family means the world to me, especially since we've been spread around the state/country over the past couple of years.
Someone looking to go out and experience new things in the area is a match to me... I want someone with a purpose, someone who is real. A man that is intelligent, able to put together a complete sentence. My thoughts on dating are partially old-fashioned. I enjoy cuddling (fireplace optional), dancing, spending time alone with that special man, movies, sports, entertaining at home, going out on the town, movies (old and new), really good jazz, walking along the beach(cliche, I know, but true!), anything in, on or near the water (I'm new to snorkeling, and love to fish!), church on Sunday mornings followed by reading the Sunday paper cuddling on the sofa - then watching football or doing something outside, gardening, and antiques (buying and refinishing). I appreciate all the life lessons I have had thus far - the good and not so good - they have strengthened me, taught me so much, given me joy, allowed my resiliency to shine through, taught me to appreciate the people I have been blessed to have around me, and helped me learn the value of forgiveness, all of which have played a part in who I am today. I have a good sense of who I am and what is important to me in a relationship.....
