Date men and women from United States / Alaska / Fairbanks, 61 year old

Date men and women from Alaska, United States. I'm a quiet country person who likes to spend time outdoors or fixing something. I enjoy spending time with friends who are active. During the summer much of my time involves flying related activities since I have a small plane on floats. I also enjoy golf, going to auctions and restoring old farm tractors. I've been a volunteer fireman for years and still volunteer but do mainly handyman jobs now and leave the fire fighting to the younger folks. I enjoy country western and contra dancing. Sense I'm retired, I have lots of free time so I'm usually looking for something new to do. My ideal match would be someone who is outgoing, honest, with a good sense of humor who loves the outdoors.

Meet a man from Alaska, United States. I'm looking for someone to spend time with and enjoy life. I enjoy the out doors and would like someone who would enjoy the same but not required. I enjoy visiting with friends over coffee or going to listen to music or to a movie. I like to garden and love my green house for my roses. I am easy going and soft spoken but not a push over well maybe for the right lady :).

Meet a soulmate from Alaska, United States. I am a very active, outdoors type of person and I want the person that I am with to feel the same way. I don't know how to describe it, but I will know it when I see it. LIFE IS GOOD AND LIVE EVERY DAY TO THE FULLEST!

Date a woman from Alaska, United States. The people I've worked with say I look like the quiet, shy, libraian type (and not my age); rather unassuming and invisible, until I get off work. Then they're surprised by my sense of humor, pool playing abliities, dance moves and general trivia knowledge (we usually win). I have a professional demeanor when needed, but still have a competitive nature and look forward to the outdoors - camping, fishing, hiking, yard work - but I do prefer indoor plumbing, and I like to travel and see new places - foreign and domestic. I'm not "extreme" - ok, I jumped out of an airplane at 13000 feet, got certified in scuba in Alaska, rode and camped on a 5 day cattle drive (and wrestled the calves for tagging and shots), have a Harley, and lived in a war zone for 4 out of the last 6 years - but generally, I'm just a regular person - with a kayak, golf clubs (that I take on walks), bowling ball and cue stick - looking for an honest, intelligent, imaginative, rest-of-my-lifetime partner/companion/friend/love, to share life experiences and whatever comes along but still be your own person. Don't worry. I won't ask you to do anything you don't want to.....except maybe dance (if you don't already know how). I like PB&Js (strawberry and prefer crunchy); I drive a stick (and have since I was 14); and I like being out on the water - from a kayak to travel cruises and I don't get sea sick on really rough fishing charters (so far). You never know where life may lead you unless you get out there and live it - Summer in Alaska (24 hour daylight). Winter in Texas, Spring and Fall.....where ever. Care to try it? Step outside your comfort zone. I do.
I'm an everyday person, but not ready for the rocking chair, (with a combination of Texas grit and understanding of southern hospitality and now, Alaska determination against the elements), living an everyday life, but I would like to find that someone who helps make it special.
