Meet someone special from Alaska, United States. I'm somewhat layed bacK, but very protective of friends, loved ones and my dog. When it comes to work ,I will do the things others won't do for whatever reason in order to get the job finished right the first time. I love to laugh and am greatful for my health without perscriptions and thankful for still having a great memory for details.
I'm not really looking for a relationship, but would rather let nature take it's course. I would love to have someone who doesn't stuff their emotions and is willing to talk openly about any problems.

Meet single man from Alaska, United States. Making people laugh just comes easy for me, A jokester at heart, I guess. I feel while people are laughing, if only for a second, all their worries disappear. They're happy.
I'm not very good at talking about myself, so here goes. My profile is a work in progress, so it may change a little 'til I get it right.
I am honest and dependable. I consider myself to be pretty laid back and easy goin'. Have a good sense of humor and love to laugh. I try to see things for what they are, not what I want them to be. I see people the same way, for who and what they are. I'm far from perfect........ I am who I am and I'm happy with that.
I like the outdoors. I would much rather watch the sunset then sit on the couch watching the tube. I like hiking and shooting sports. I don't hunt or fish. I seem to have a "connection" with animals, a certain trust maybe. Since moving to Alaska 2 yrs ago, friends have given me the nickname Moose Whisperer, there's a funny story.
I like to cook. I have to admit, I make killer chili and spaghetti sauce. Love to grill. Nothing like a steak off the grill when it's 30 below, helps relieve cabin fever.
I am not interested in anything serious at this moment, but if it happens-it happens.Just to hang out with, do things with. Dining out or just staying home for diner. Day trips for a little hiking or longer trips(if it feels right). There's alot to see in Alaska! Or just talking over coffee. If you like to do some shooting, that's a BIG plus. Just a friend to hang out with and go from there.
One last thing, you must like dogs. My dog is my family.

Date a soulmate from Alaska, United States. Hard to explain really...I grew up in a small town in the Midwest and slowly migrated West and North. I love the outdoors - photography and hiking and fishing and kayaking - Have i used up my 200 characters yet?

Meet a man from Alaska, United States. Most of my friends would say I have an easy-going, friendly, personality being an individual who is quiet and low-key. Some would describe me as an intellectual, deliberate in thought and somewhat disengaged from the social world. Although I do enjoy solitude and solitary activities and tend to socialize with only a few close friends I am not adverse to being out and about– especially with that special someone.
I have a strong sense of moral obligation and am regarded as reliable and hard-working. Most find me to be pleasant, sympathetic, and cooperative and I do not get angry easily, or often.
I have an appreciation for beauty, both in art and nature that I am occasionally fortunate enough to capture through my hobby of photography. Additional interests, such as reading, reflect my inquisitive nature in that I enjoy learning new things and playing with ideas.
As the saying goes, “there is a woman behind every tree” here in the Aleutians (the Aleutians have no natural trees). The ratio of men to women in our small community is three to one, and every woman is lightheartedly called a “Dutch Harbor 10”, regardless of personal attributes. To say that there is an extreme shortage of available, healthy, relationship-minded women is a major understatement.

Date men and women from United States. I've lived in Alaska most of my life. Just can't stay away. My family was from Western Washington and I spent time in Eastern Washington. My daughter is a newly wed and my parents and some of my siblings live in Alaska. Boating in saltwater is my favorite thing. Summer on the Kenai is awesome. I got a good look at Denali last fall and look forward to more this spring.
It seems my situation is common now. After the divorce, I'm looking for no drama. Relationships are complicated and nothing is flawless but now I'm cautious. This next chapter of my life is going to be a hoot. Is anybody heading this road? Let's go on adventures. Travel a bit. Have some laughs and fun. Anchorage is fun... let's meet for dinner and drinks. Workout? Explore B and B's. Travel, retire? Let's dress up nice a bit. I love a beauty on my arm. Don't get me wrong,I love sockeyes, halibut, moose, kings and all manner of dirty, wet cold Alaskan recreational adventures. I love the bush, southeast, interior and Anchorage. I'm comfortable all over the state. I've got some business opportunities coming up to explore.
So there it is, big fun on the horizon anybody interested? Drop me a line let's talk. I'd like to hear your story.

About me? I have my health, teeth and hair. If I was to classify myself, I guess it would be educated blue collar dude. My profession is white collar (education) but my interests and skills seem blue collar. I enjoy building and rebuilding things...boats, bikes, trucks, houses. My occupation is also fascinating and I can become engrossed in academic tasks also. I once wrote a HS text book for a virtual school about the History of Alaska... Beringia to the pipeline. Hardest job I ever had. I like adventure. In my youth I fought forest fires, worked in ski resorts, worked in the seismic industry (marine and land) sold automobiles.... on and on.

My situation has left me many options about life. It's a work in progress to schedule everything. In Northeastern Washington I own a 1906 farm house. It's not filled with antiques but it has some. My boat, truck and tools are stored in the Shop. The newest project I am involved with is traveling to Belize. Winters in Belize. Summers in Alaska and spring and fall in Washington seems doable. Lots of travel but still seems to work. There it is. I sometimes wonder whether this type of lifestyle is interesting to anyone but me....time will tell.
The company of women is very desirable. Though I adventure a bit I'm still looking for the one.
Thanks for reading
