Hmmm, I'm 6'4" and look best in boots and wranglers! I'd like to meet a girl that is between 35 and 50...Who has made her mistakes but has gotten up and straighten her life out where needed. I live off the road system west of Fairbanks on the Yukon, but I would not mind traveling between my village and FB for the right lady, it's not that expensive and I do have training in FB for my school district. I also REALLY would like to meet a lady that can travel to my village to snow machine, camp, enjoy the village life, etc. So think about this and whether it fits into your life!!!
LASTLY, I read alot about " I'm drama free". Ok, let me define drama! I feel I need to do this after dating on here for a year. I can come home and cook dinner, wash dishes, kiss my girl and play grab butt, go for a drive in the country or a boat trip, come home and do what needs to be done around the house without having to argue...for months at a time with the right girl! If you gotta argue, nit pick, etc about stuff daily, your not right for me! I have a nice, quiet life here in the bush and have learned to deal with being lonely since I have so much going for me in all the other parts of my life! I don't need a girl that much to sacrifice what I have just to have someone there! I want the right woman, period. Not picky, just smart! I see all my other buddies unhappy since they jumped at the wrong girl! I don't want to go down that road! I can deal with a woman that has kids, you just need to be a MOM and not a best friend, there is a difference!

I recently moved up to Fairbanks and am working in the mining industry. I am not a miner. I am a geological engineer by education, geophysicist by trade, and am now trying to expand my geoscience skills by working at a mine. I went to college twice; once for a marketing degree and then went back and re-tooled for an engineering degree. I am a total scientist. My bible is the geologic record and I don't believe the world was created in 7 days. I don't believe in ghosts, goblins, astrology, the after life, etc. I believe you have one shot in this world and then you end up either in a urn or six feet under.
How to describe me...savvy, determined in my work, goofy in my personal life, educated, dry sense of humor (think Family Guy, Fawlty Towers, Absolutely Fabulous [and if you know those last two references we'll get along just fine]), easy going, live life in the moment but I do plan for the future and I have to paddle like hell sometimes!
I don't hunt but I do fish. I am not insanely "into" anything but rather enjoy all things in moderation. I recently went on a trip down to Seward and Homer just to check out the sites. I love my 1978 Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser (and that's about the only material item I love). I can take or leave sports but I would rather watch "weird" sports like Aussie Rules football, rugby, or Irish Hurling. I love everything Irish (culture, history, movies). I enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories and viewpoints. I am relatively quiet until I get to know people, then the humor is released like a flood.
