. I've come full circle. I left Geneva Co. many years ago and have lived in several states and for the last several years in Pensacola. I'd always said when I was ready to retire I'd come back home. I'm doing the things I enjoy and didn't have the time for when I was working crazy hours. I've adopted a spoiled dog, Patches. (I didn't spoil him. He came to me that way!) I love to bake, so I bake cakes and give them away. Puts smiles on faces and keeps my weight down.
It's the simple things that mean so much to me. Like today my sister dropped off some things she'd seen in a thrift shop that reminded her of me. Now, that means more to me than something really expensive bought without a thought. If he exists, I'm looking for a man who does little things like that, because I've always given 100% to everything that was important to me- the people in my life, my home, my job, and my dog and I don't want to be anyone's second thought.
