My Christian faith means a lot to me, and I want to find someone with similar values as mine, which are church-going, born-again Christian, enjoys spiritual activities like reading the Bible, watching Christian TV, etc. I have not had any kids myself as I have never been married, so am not opposed to dating someone with kids. I am on the fence as far as having a child of my own as I am getting up there in years (haha) but would consider it. I love someone with a good sense of humor, optimistic, fun-loving, down to earth, does not take himself too seriously. I am looking for a best friend to spend my life with--what a great thing that would be! Me, well, I laugh a lot. I have a good sense of humor, and can be funny if inspired. I am a very creative type--love writing songs, music, prose, even wrote a novel. I am artsy, but am open to about anything, including going to ball games, boating, fishing, etc. Don't take me hunting, though. I don't think its bad, but I have problems killing a bug, much less an animal (except fishing, which is ironic, I guess). I am self-motivated, laid back, down to earth, and an extrovert in some situations--a little introverted in others. I am real. I don't like pretense or fakeness. Be who you are--don't pretend. . What's up! 1st of all I would like 2 say its not about looks guys so don't be shallow when you chose your friends look into the heart for your soulmate if you want to be happy. I love to fish on the bank for Brim with my boys when the time is right, you know throw them crickets out there as fast as you can reel the next Brim in . Just having a blast with the boys. 'So I like to please my man if he rattles his glass of ice indicating he's thirsty... that's an instant refill, but he has got to earn it through being a friend. I do have a special needs son who is 13 years old. He has high functioning autism. He is an awesome kid and is basically a savant when it comes to sports trivia (particularly college football and basketball). I am the book buyer (but do more than just that) for a book distributor. I have a B.A. in psychology and minored in Criminal Justice. I write poetry and mostly non-fiction articles, mainly for my pleasure. I have been writing a fictional short story but right now I have writer's block!
I have been divorced for 13 years. I was in a relationship earlier this year for the first time since my divorce.
