First and foremost, I want you to know that I am a christian. I believe in Jesus Christ and that he saved me. He is Lord of my life. If you do not share that belief, I am not the person for you. I know that one statement will limit the number of men who are interested in me but that is alright, I wouldn't be interested in them anyway.
I am honest and faithful, kind and faithful, loving and faithful, trustworthy and faithful. Oh,did I mention faithful? LOL! Guess you can see what is important to me! I have been divorced for 3 years after 32 years of marriage. I have two daughters and two granddaughters who live near me. We are very close and I love them dearly. However, I am not the kind of person who has to communicate with them several times a day. They have their own lives and I want them to be free to live without any interference from me. Both of my sons-in -law will tell you that I am a great mother-in-law. I am very proud of that!
I love to travel, the western states are my favorite. I love the Biltmore, moutains and beach. I just returned from my first mission trip to Tennessee/Kentucky. I love sunrises and sunsets, the sound of the surf, rain after a drought, snow when it's not expected, rainbows and the sound of my granddaughters laughter, well, you get the idea---
I like SEC football (War Eagle!) and NHRA drag racing, yes, I know who John Force is and I have seen him in person several times! I would love to learn to scuba dive and I think I would be good at golf but I haven't had the opportunity to find out. I live in a rural area but I am not a redneck or a hick. I simply choose to live in the country, It has nothing to do with my intelligence or lack thereof. You've heard a little about me, now about you---
I am not interested in anyone who drinks to excess or smokes. I do not find it attractive and I do not want to deal with it. I want someone to share my life. I want someone who is looking for someone to share their remaining years with. After all, isn't that what we all want, isn't what we are all looking for? I beleive that God has a plan for me (Jeremiah 29:11 is my special verse) maybe you are part of that plan---
Oh, to the man who said he went to the beach and I wasn't there---I was there, you just didn't see me. I'm not blonde or a size 2. I'm of average height and weight with dark hair, I'm a woman who has a large capacity to love, to love even you--a man who is a little heavier than he used to be with a little less hair with a few extra lines on his face. I am the woman you are looking for with your heart, not necessarily your eyes.
