Meet a woman from United States. If you saw my pictures and you're wondering what's up with the picture of the shirtless, faceless man, so am I. I've asked the webbies at Match.com to remove him, but for some reason, he's still there! Please disregard him! Describing myself is very difficult for me. My friends would probably say there are many faces of me. Sometimes I get really dressed up and like to feel like a princess. At other times I'm in the mood to wear flannel and blue jeans (which I've been told is illegal offense). Most of the time I wear business casual for work. Seriously though, I'm a 42-year-old mother of two grown children who are among my very best friends and definitely my favorite people on the planet. Not that I've met everyone on the planet, but if I did I'm sure they'd still be my favorites. My boyfriend of the past 3 years broke up with me very suddenly and unexpectedly in November 04 and I'm ready to get out there and date again. It's just hard to say what I'm looking for in the next man I decide to date. One thing I know: He must be decent and honest. Mature enough to realize that putting on a front is always a dead end and being yourself might be a dead end right at the start, but is preferrable to letting someone down later. I enjoy a wide range of activities and am up to trying something new. My dad used to say "I'll try anything once, twice if I like it". Of course, he was referring to food, and I tend to use it in a broader context. Not that I'm crazy or anything. Just that I know you can't say you don't like something until you've at least tried it. So, back to where we were, I don't know what I'm looking for in the next guy. I'm not even sure that I am looking for the next guy yet. Right now, I just want to date and have fun and get to know some new people.
