I wrote the above a year ago when I first joined Match. I've just rejoined and want to add some reflective thoughts generated by my previous Match experiences. Number one is if you are a pretentious person who is focused only on possessions, money, and travel, then we are probably not a match. I want a life partner that is focused on our relationship not external things. I'm not ready to be an old man yet. Unfortunately I have met women who do not have much zest left-both physically and emotionally. I'm told that people are surprised when they meet me. I don't look or act my age. Many people near my age are seeking younger mates. Probably because they have not embraced their own age. I was probably one of those a year ago. I had never dated or been in a relationship with a woman over 50 unti I joined Match last year. I've become comfortable with my age and now realize that true happiness will be with someone within 10years of me and someone who wants a passionate physical and emotional relationship. If you're willing to take a chance and actually meet, I don' think you will be disappointed.
