I was a career military man that recently retired. During my military service I have lived in England, Colorado Springs (twice), Anchorage, and Albuquerque before moving to Alabama and retiring. I do have two children, twins, that are 21 years old who live with me. They are both college students and have jobs so they are not reliant on me and are very self-sufficient. My children mean the world to me and they are my best friends and we do a lot of things together.
Most of my free time is spent doing something outdoors. Whether it is hunting during hunting season, the beach and pool during the summer, or just working in my yard and/or garden you will usually find me outdoors when the weather permits.
I believe in being romantic but not being predictable. I love to surprise and be surprised. I think that a woman should be treated like a lady. Being polite is an attribute that too many people seem to have forgotten and there is nothing wrong with opening a door or giving a woman your jacket...and women should be happy to accept these acts of kindness.
Finally, in my limited recent dating experiences I have found too many women that like the "bad boy." Well I am not going to change just to find a woman looking for a bad boy. As I said in my headline, if the good guys finish last I am happy finishing last...as long as the last woman left is the one that I was meant to be with.
