I live on the water (Gulf of Mexico), have a Maltese dog for companionship, enjoy cooking and "home" as opposed to going out. I take care of everything related to home (handyman), repair cars, do plumbing, electrical, painting, construction, etc. I enjoy sports, especially college football and basketball, have a boat for fishing and wave-runners for fun. I have a large ranch in N. Idaho. I still travel frequently on international trips for business, even though I am technically retired. I have a consulting business for international companies involving legal and corporate matters. I worked 30 years for the Defense Department as a civilian attorney (primarily overseas) before I retired.
My growing up on a ranch was not for the faint of heart and a good lifetime experience. It was a good character builder and teacher of what the good and not-so-good (setbacks) of life are all about. I am a caring, sharing, giving person that has been used and taken advantage of at times but have come to grips with my character and realize that my reward my come in the next life. I am religious to the extent of strongly believing in a higher power, and convinced that day to day personal observance of religious principles is far more important than show up in church on Sunday.
