Date people from Newton, United States. I am a modest person, therefore this is difficult for me.....
I like riding motorcycles, listening to music and computer programming among other things. I must say that most of my spare time is consumed by the motorcycles. I like Italian, Chinese, Mexican and of course Southern food. Like to read. Mostly political, history and science fiction.
Favorite TV programs are Justified, House, Saving Grace and Stargate Universe. Like to listen to Glen Beck on the Radio and Bill O'Reilly on Fox News. I like to go to concerts. I guess you could say that my taste in music is eclectic. I pretty much like all music (BTW: Rap is not music). Favorite bands/artist are Talking Heads, REM, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, George Frideric Handel, Journey, Kentucky Headhunters, Chet Atkins, Mark Knopfler, Dire Straits, etc.... I used to play a little guitar but it has been year since I have picked it up. I guess it's a little strange for a guy, but I like to cook.... Clean, not so much. :)
Don't care much for the club scene.... Been there, done that. Guess I outgrew it... :) I can be brutally honest but age has thought me to temper the honesty with a little empathy. I don't argue on differences of opinion (most of my opinions don't matter in the overall scheme of things) but I will debate passionately about my core beliefs. I can be a little shy at first, so if you wish I would contact you but I don't, just go ahead and contact me. I will be kind, no matter my first impression of you.
I have been married twice and divorced from number 2 for a couple of years. Both ripped a hole in my heart. I don't have any children but it's not because I don't love them. I am very loyal, but after what I have been through, a little skeptical. I do hope to someday find the perfect woman (for me) and live the rest of my life with her.
Maybe all this sounds a little stupid.... Maybe I should work on it some more.....

What am I looking for?
Indeed, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. A lot of the women that I think are beautiful my friends think are OK or worse. (LOL) Beauty is one thing, attraction is another and a real deep feeling about someone different still. I have only experienced that real deep feeling (which I will call love) a couple of times in my life. That feeling was with women that I thought were beautiful and that I was attracted to by some unknown mystical force. I married both of them, unfortunately they both ended up nearly spending me into oblivion and becoming expertly honed liars.
I want the same thing I had those times, less the lies. I will know if she is beautiful to me, that's easy, but I don't think I have any control over the "mystical force".
Honesty is my number one concern in relationships. I want my lady to feel comfortable being completely honest with me. Honest, even if she thinks she will disappoint me, honest about things she has done, honest about what she sees in me, honest even if feeling will get hurt. Love will only be possible with the honest truth.
When I'm truly in love, disagreements are always minor. Honesty begets understanding. Core values are supremely important to me.... not that I or anyone else is perfect.
On a lighter note, I hope you like to Ride Motorcycles....
