Date someone special from New Market, United States. I am a father of 4 and a grandfather of 1. My children range in age from 23 to 2 years. My littlest was a very pleasant surprise. She keeps me busy. I tell you this first because this is a very important part of who I am and where a great deal of my time goes. I have my little girl half the time. While this keeps me busy and wears me out, I wouldn't trade it for the world.
I should also say that I have a very good relationship with my little one's mother. Even though we divorced soon after our little girl was born, we have become friends. We talk often about our daughter's development. It is important to me that this relationship I have with my daughter's mother remain. I have seen way too many instances where the parents didn't communicate well or at all. The children always suffered and I want to make sure that my little girl doesn't suffer in such a way. So, her mother and I put the past behind us for her sake and are taking care of her.
Yes, I like music. All kinds. My favorite things are to play pool, ride my motorcycle (preferably with someone that also enjoys riding), play the guitar, cook something special when I have time, and I like to have projects. I'm all the time working on something. Some of my projects have included building a shed from my plans (didn't use a kit), build a piece of furniture, or some other like thing. I don't sit still well. However, I can sit still for a good conversation or a good movie.
I am open minded. I know a lot of people say that and 9 times out of 10, it seems they really don't understand what that should mean. However, I am a live and let live kind of person. I try not to be judgmental of others and will give people the benefit of the doubt or at least try. Life has taught me the importance of that many times over.
I am adventuresome and love trying new things and going to different places. I believe that it is good to try something with an open mind. You never know when you will find a new hobby or something that you really enjoy. I especially love visiting places that have historical value. I would want someone with the same adventuresome heart.
As I have spent some time on this site, I've come to the conclusion that I need to add some things that would be important to me in a partner. So here it goes. I like to ride motorcycles. She should, too. I don't care if she has her own or wants to ride on the back of mine. She should be comfortable getting suited up and spending a day sweaty (oops, I meant glowing) and having helmet hair. At the same time, I also like this woman to enjoy dressing up for a night out. Whether it be nice jeans and a blouse or a dress, she should feel comfortable and enjoy those times as well. I don't mean this to sound sexist in any way. I like a woman who takes pride in her appearance. I take pride in mine and would always dress in a manner that would make her proud.
