I'm not originally from here. I grew up in North West Florida, close to the beach. I joined the Army when I was 17 and traveled all over. I really haven't been back home for more than a week at a time since then. so almost half of my life I have been away from home. Some of my family still lives there but I also have family in DC
I like to take long drives in my jeep or truck to where ever seems to be the best place at the time. And there aren’t many places it can't go.
I am a pretty easy, going laid back person. And look forward to the joys that each day can bring. My friends would say that I am dedicated to my cause to the point of stupidity. =P I can at times be very goofy, but for the most part very intelligent. I like to go to movies and the theater, a stroll through an art gallery or a quiet walk on the beach or board walk. It's not every day you get to enjoy the tranquility of nature or the brilliance of someone’s mind. To see the world as others see them or the mood they are trying to convey. It interests me greatly to see these things.
I have been married, and learned a lot of things out of my marriage. Not the least of which is what I would like in the future. I'm not a person that really likes to be alone in the world, and prefer to spend my time with someone else, to enjoy the things in life with someone. I'm a pretty sentimental person at heart and like to do things just because. Maybe it’s just to curl up on the couch and watch some movie that came from the bottom of the shelf at the movie store. Or maybe it’s a pair of tickets to New York to watch a play opening on Broadway. I'm easily pleased and do whatever it takes to try to bring a smile to someone’s face. Life is to short to live it wondering what the future holds, without enjoying what you can in the now.
