I sail a 35 foot sloop out of the Fairhope Yacht Club on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay. Although my home is in Montevallo, AL (near Birmingham) I spend considerable time in Fairhope. My permanent residence is a log home on several acres an hours drive from Birmingham, so if you like to hear a "noisy flowing stream, and have roaring fires in the fireplaces in the winter I've got the place for you.

Distance doesn't bother me and to be honest the selection where I am is pretty horrible. Every single relationship I have been in except for one has been long distances so it's nothing I can't handle nor would have a problem with if I think you are worth the time.
