I served this great nation of ours for 20 years as a Military Policeman in the United States Army and retired in the fall of 1999 . I was born in Long Island, NY and raised in Boston, MA. Yes I'm a yankee but I fell in love with the south and decided to call this home. I have two grown children who no longer live at home, it's just me and my son's cat Patches. My son moved out during the summer of 2009 but left me his cat, a parting gift I suppose. ;-) I have been divorced since February of 2006.
I enjoy weekend trips to the mountains, the Gatlinburg area specifically. I also enjoy the beach, Destin, FL is the beach of my choice; sitting on the balcony in the morning and watching for the dolphin to swim on by.
