My friends and co-workers would say that I am the "go-to" guy to make sure the magic happens and everything works out as planned. My work has always defined who I am. No longer am I willing to live for my job but would rather just work to live. Day after day I have seen life flash by my office window. As a successful businessman, you can imagine that I’m not afraid of a little risk, or taking charge when a situation calls for it. At the same time, I’m flexible and confident enough to relinquish the reins to others so I’m not a controlling person. Respectful of personal boundaries and space, I’m looking for a woman who may share some of my interests, but has some of her own to introduce me to. An outgoing and social man, I love having people around, often cook and entertain, and enjoy the occasional challenge of a game of cards or board game. I also heard "Don't marry someone you can live with. Marry someone you can't live without." That's pretty good too.
There's a Bible verse about being content in whatever situation you find yourself in, and I'd tried (not always successfully) to do that. I've used my time as a single person to write novels, get an education, go on mission trips, travel, take art and seminary courses, open a writing/art studio, and work with student ministries on my campus. I'm having a pretty good time doing all of that, but would love to have someone else to love and share life with; a soulmate that I could have long, deep conversations with as well as "crazy" good times.
Now that my parents are older, I'm also thinking more about the legacy they've left me and the type of home I'd like to have. I'd like for it to be a fun and happy place that people love to come and visit, and I'd like to be the type of husband and father my family can always count on for advice and encouragement.

The truth,uh? Well, what if I told you in the first scenario I drive a sporty bmw convertible and that story is much more interesting? Oh, still the truth, uh? Well, ok
I'm just an average guy who's lived through and survived tragedy. I have two kids, and love spending time with them. They bring a smile to my face everyday.
I love going to concerts. I also enjoy going out to dinner. I love trying new restaurants and new foods. I enjoy going to sporting events, especially football games. I enjoy going to the movies, but I also enjoy trying new things. And I'm never against just spending a quiet evening at home with someone special and watching a movie. In other words, I'm pretty much open to anything.
I enjoy running and exercising. I also love to grill. After all, what food isn't improved by cooking it outside? I love my job, and enjoy going to work everyday (ok, maybe not EVERY day, but most days, anyway). I think it's important to look at the humorous side of life, and be willing to laugh, even if it involves me laughing at myself from time to time.

- I've raised two kids without killing them (yet)
Ok, seriously, I'm at a good place in my life, and I'm looking for someone that can be my friend and hopefully see the relationship grow from there. I'm not looking for someone to take care of me. I'm looking for someone to enhance my life. I'd like to find someone that enjoys some of the same interests I have, but certainly not all. I'd like to meet someone that I can do things with, but also wants to do things on her own at times.
