I'm like a duck: Embarrassing moments and hardships don't faze me and roll off my back like water. No webbed feet though, sorry. I laugh at myself and move on. I'm a motivated guy and I like keeping busy by pursuing my hobbies, reading, exercising, and hanging out with my different groups of friends. Admittedly I'm an optimistic dorky gentleman and I get laughs from observing everyday life. Music is a major part of my life and I enjoy metal, classical, electronica, techno, rock, etc. Strangely enough I have a taste for vinyl records. I have ear piercings. I play electric guitar and a little keyboard. When meeting new individuals I can be talkative, but in big groups I tend to come off as quiet until I warm up to people. I am always willing to go out and have a good time. That said I like trying new restaurants/bars/places/hangouts to spice up my life.

I have not dated a whole lot in my lifetime. I spent most of my education career studying and getting where I am today. I have a great job with Lockheed Martin, and now that I have that very important part down, I am turning my attention elsewhere. Namely, I am working to get in shape and lose some weight, and I am looking to meet new people in Madison and Huntsville and make new friends and potential partners.
I am absolutely terrible at talking about myself, so I guess it would be easier to say if you have any questions, message me, email me, or whatever. I will attempt to update this soon when I think of more I can say.
I work weekdays but get off work early enough to do dinner any night, but more dynamic dates would have to be pushed to Friday or Saturday, or Sunday afternoons.
Some things I think would be fun to do include rock climbing, heading out to a lake, grabbing a bite to eat, or even just hanging out in a park or at one of our apartments, watching a movie or getting to know each other by playing a game and talking.
I am a very down to earth person (It seems like everyone says that though, huh? lol) and I really would just enjoy getting to know some people in the area. Even if you do not have any interest in dating, or dating me, at the moment, let me know if you want to meet up and see if we can become friends. I love meeting new people, but please make sure I am aware when we go out. I definitely do not like getting lead on...It has happened on more than one occasion and it really grinds my gears.

I've never thought about using online dating before, but I'm getting to the point where I'm finally starting to have a stable life and the only thing missing is a great girl to share it with.
There isn't really one "type" I can use to describe myself, I'm all over the place. I guess one thing that really describes my personality is that I'm extremely competitive, and that leads to pretty much all of my interests. I love sports, and since I'm from PA and couldn't play sports outside all year round, I'm into competitive gaming too. I can have fun going out to dinner and a movie, or cooking something at home and just hanging out on the couch. I was home schooled in 4th grade, which is when I learned how to cook. I don't drink or smoke because I like to take care of my body (although someday my metabolism will slow down and I'll have to eat less than 4,000 calories a day...) but that doesn't mean I have a problem with anyone that drinks occasionally. I love movies and music, any movie and any music. My favorite movie would have to be Gladiator, because it's freakin' epic. My life goal really is just to make a difference in the world. I want to make a positive impact on as many people's lives as I possibly can. We all have this one world to live in together and share, and I want to leave a legacy when I leave it. I can be super random at times and occasionally just go off on tangents sometimes (this description reflects that...).
