I can cook, I can clean, and I even mow the grass. I'm gainfully employed, no kids, no serious addictions, and no pets (but I'm okay if you have pets). If any of these things are deal-breakers, well, okay!
I'm really looking for someone that is ready to move forward with their life, someone who is ready to travel, try new things, and share their experiences. It's important to me that you laugh and are able to make other people laugh, you have an appetite for seeing and doing things, and that you are able to think and reason for yourself. I don't think those are outrageous things to want in a match.
You're still here? Good! I guess I can give you a cross-section of my life to sort of give you an idea of my tics and stuff. I guess I could be described as a laid back guy most of the time, but I can be impatient, serious, and sometimes intense. I am a very visual person, and I like to look at things that inspire me, like beautiful vistas backed by mountains, crystal clear blue water, amazing architecture, and sunrises/sunsets. I also like to take pictures of these things (surprise, surprise?). I can be a bit OCD about random stuff like erasing whiteboards/chalkboards, which way the toilet paper goes in the dispenser, and inefficiencies literally designed into things that people use every day. I watch football with my stepsister and her family in the fall, I eat out for lunch almost every day (usually with friends from work), and I often go to happy hours on Fridays.

Date a soulmate from Alabama, United States. I have no idea if this site works but got bored and decided to check it out after a buddy suggested it. I figure it can't hurt, but I haven't subscribed yet. I guess I'm just browsing but my other methods of finding someone haven't worked out yet. I'd love to find a great person to build a relationship with. I've been on plenty of bad dates in my life, and plenty of failed setups from my friends who apparently weren't really thinking about me when they suggested someone. I'm very laid back and I think I may have only been mad at someone or something two or three times in my life. I'm thankful for each new day. Family is a huge part of my life and I know I wouldn't be the person I am without them. I love traveling and wish I had time to do more of it. I'm always up for a concert, movie, or sporting event, but don't mind a relaxing night at home clearing out the DVR or renting a movie. I love to laugh and try to make others laugh and have a good time as well. I'm a pretty good cook as long as I can watch someone make it on TV first then hit up my kitchen to give it a try.

One thing I'm proud of is my ability to make anyone laugh. It's a great skill to use, especially when it can brighten up someone's day. I can find joy in any activity; its hard to find something I can't find some enjoyment in doing (well...ok...maybe mowing my lawn). I hope to go skydiving this year; I have been putting it off for too long.
I work as an aerospace engineer (rocket scientist!). My work schedule does remain constant for the most part, but I do get the opportunity to travel, which I thoroughly enjoy. I've been here for seven years and enjoy living here. I'm originally from Los Angeles, and at first the shock of moving from a major metropolis to a smaller city was huge, but I've grown to really enjoy living here. I no longer have to worry about horrendous traffic or rude Angelinos. I've found that people here are very courteous and polite, which is awesome.
