First, I enjoy spending time with my kids. I enjoy watching my daughter play her sports and she is an excellent athlete. I Love them very much and am very proud of how great they are doing in life and, even more importantly, how happy and healthy they are physically and emotionally.
For sports and exercise I enjoy hiking 14’ers in the Summer and snowboarding in the winter. I exercise regularly by swimming, cycling, and weightlifting. I also have fun playing ping pong, pool and bowling. I enjoy combining exercise with the beauty of nature. I am inspired to exercise vigorously when doing mountain hikes and snowboarding.
Live music is and always has been one of my great joys. A night at Red Rocks or the Fillmore seeing a great music show is a true rush. I do this quite often and see a variety of music. I also enjoy watching sports, great movies, documentaries and comedy shows @ home when I am ready to just “chill”.
Good, intelligent conversation over great dinner and wine go together nicely with a loving, intelligent and educated person or group of people. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family either at home, at the movies or at a show. I enjoy reading, particularly spiritual books, but I also enjoy reading various history and science topics.
Traveling is also a great love of mine. I have travelled through much of the US, Western Canada, Mexico and Europe have lived in Germany and Hawaii at different times in my life. I will go back to Europe periodically to visit family and travel (I am German and have close family from my mother’s side there). However, my dream is to go to Nepal or Tibet to see the Himalayas, drink Lapsang (and other) tea and meditate with the Buddhist masters.
I have made meditation and prayer a cornerstone of my life. I now make sacred time for this and have found it to be a powerful and effective practice that has dramatically enhanced my quality of life, particularly in the areas of patience and Love when working with people each day.

I am an intelligent, outgoing, passionate, very enthusiastic, physically fit and spiritual (yet grounded) person who sees the magic and possibilities of life and people. I am a Loving father of two wonderful children. I surround myself with people who are loving, positive, intelligent, supportive and very humorous. Yes, I LOVE to laugh. I also love the full array of music and listen to what moves me in the moment. I am very active and energetic and, therefore, health and exercise are a major part of my life.
Intellectually, I have always been fascinated by studies and ideas of our existence in both Western and Eastern philosophies and religions. I’m an enthusiastic student of philosophy, religion, science, sociology, psychology, history and spirituality. My compassion and humility continue to increase with the awareness of the “finiteness” of the human condition and, how little I truly know.
