I’ve been married once, for 14 years, and my divorce was amicable. I am the father of 2 charming sons, ages 14 and 17, and they live 90% of the time with their mother who lives nearby. I see them quite often and I am committed to being the best father I can be for them. I believe that �Quiet Strength’ is an apt description of me if, to you, that means humble, confident, patient and kind-hearted. I can be a bit shy until I get to know you, and I am serious much of the time but I smile easily, I like to laugh, and once my guard is down I can be more than a little goofy. I believe that chivalry is an important ingredient to nurturing a romantic relationship; I will always open doors for you, wrap you in my coat when it’s cold outside, offer you my arm when we’re walking together, and even squash the really big bugs for you…if you need me to.
I lead a healthy and conscious lifestyle; I run often, I lift weights and practice yoga occasionally, and I am learning to meditate. I read a lot to relax, mostly histirical fiction. I like most sports and football is my favorite (I am a guy after all). I love animals and have a few of my own. My worst vices are caffeine (my usual is a triple-grande-latte) and a sweet tooth (I especially love all things chocolate). I know my way around the kitchen, how to use a vacuum, and I wash my whites on �hot’ with bleach :) I am able to communicate articulately on most subjects including, believe it or not, my feelings, my desires and even my emotions (no, really ;).
I've done the work on myself that was required after my divorce, and I now have both the time and the space in my life to invite someone special into it. I’ve been dating for a few years now and I’ve met some beautiful people, but I have yet to meet �the One’. That creature that makes my heart beat faster and gives my butterflies on sight. The One that makes me smile quietly and makes my chest feel heavy when I think about her. The One that makes me look forward to being with her soon, and to think creatively about what new thing we might do together or new place we might explore. When I do find her, and I’m sure I will, I know she will be very pleased with her �Catch’ because she will have found a best friend, a loyal partner and a skilled and attentive lover.

• Favorite places in Colorado: Beaver Creek, Vail, Ouray, Telluride and Rocky Mountain National Park.
• Favorite non-Colorado cities to visit: San Francisco, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

• Place I could never visit enough: Disneyland. It truly IS the Happiest Place on Earth.
• I believe if you can afford it and you're buying something important to you, go ahead and spend your money on what you like; if you have to go into debt, or if you're buying something to impress someone else, that's just sad.
• Architectural sensibility: Both extremely Modern and Mid-Century Modern. Google "Googie" and you'll see architecture I could never, ever tire of. Think design cues from the first few seasons of "Mad Men," "The Jetsons," classic Disneyland design, and the old Holiday Inn "Great Sign."
• I love most everything about the Rat Pack, from "Ocean's Eleven" (1960) to the way Frank, Dean and Sammy knew how to make a stage really swing.
• No game playing, please. I like games, just not within the context of a relationship. Say what you mean and mean what you say, as that's what you'll get from me. Honesty is the foundation upon which all healthy relationships are built, and is what I expect from you.
• Can you handle a man who treats you like a woman should be treated? If you have a problem with a man who will insist on opening doors for you, helping you with your coat and who believes that giving flowers is not a move of desperation or a ploy to get into your pants but rather is how a romantic interest SHOULD treat a woman, we're not a good match.
